Anybody gonna check out the Blood Moon tonight?  The irony is too strong for me to miss this one.

What? There's a full moon tomorrow. But I don't think it's a 'blood moon'.

I just finished reading "The Splendid and the Vile: A Saga of Churchill, Family, and Defiance During the Blitz."   The coming of full moons during the Blitz were terrifying to Londoners because it was guaranteed that the Germans would send massive bombing runs. The RAF struggled with nighttime defenses, so the Germans, following navigation beams and aided by the light of the full moon, had free reign in the skies to bring terror to the city.   But ultimately, it's an uplifting tale, because Londoners, buoyed and cheered by Churchill, proved to be resilient beyond anything the Germans expected.

Oh, and Joseph Goebbels was really a vile, despicable human being.

Who has time to read all the way to the end.

How about the very ****ing beginning?  Because (SPOILER ALERT) the first thing Shakespeare does is tell you that they die.

It’s a Pink Moon.  Get high.

Hmm. Never heard this version. Not bad, but Nick Drake’s stripped down original is hauntingly beautiful.

So was his wife, Magda. They and their children were in the bunker with Hitler and they killed the children before themselves.

Beautiful moon tonight, so clear and bright.

The Last Supermoon of 2020 Arrives Thursday. Here's What to Look For.

It's your last chance to see the moon show off this year.

Supermoons are a lot like Oreos. By the time you get to the last one in the package, you may have had your fill. Moreover, some part of your brain is telling you there will always be more, but that's not guaranteed to be the case. Also, they're round. Can't overlook that.

Well, we're at the last Oreo in the supermoon package. It's been a good run. There have arguably been four straight supermoons in 2020, but the full moon on the night of Thursday, May 7, will be the last full moon supermoon of 2020. It'll actually be the last one until April 2021. With a few in a row, you might feel like you've had your fill, but it's last call on supermoons for a real long time.

So you're saying you want one, if I'm hearing you correctly.

Actually, I’m thinking of putting up some real bank and commissioning a one-off of Karl Hungus.

^^^^Tell me that's just the stupid note, not the check...🤞🤲😉

The money was deposited into my account on the 15th lol. I went to check my mailbox today for the first time in who knows how long and found that wonderful surprise in there. I know that it was immature, but it made me feel damn good!

Documentation with his signature are not allowed in my home :)

Got mine on the 15th too, but I haven't gotten the note yet.

I'll stand in solidarity & follow suit when I do. 👊

I got a paper check with his title and name on it, no signature. I deposited it and already paid some bills.

It's overcast all day today and probably tonight, so I'm glad it w was clear last night for moon gazing.

In what may be the weirdest moment in marital history my wife demanded we buy a big screen TV with our George W. stimulus money.

I always knew I married the right one.  😁

You actually bought something to stimulate the economy?!

I had big plans to buy tickets to Cal Ripken's last game, but as a dependent at the time i got nothing. I heard a lot of Zoomers are mad about the same thing right now!
