The Quarantine Thread

I do metal roofing, its slow right now. We've actually had people cancel jobs because they're afraid of contact with the virus. I really don't care, I can afford to stay home for a month. I just bought 3 videogames in the last two months and haven't had the time to really play them yet. I would enjoy having that time to play them...

Why is MASN not replaying the entire 2019 playoffs?

Especially since masturbation is suppose to help your immunity.

My backlog of games and kindle books could last me 5 years of isolation alone. And yet I'd likely still watch NCIS and Friends reruns...cause I'm too lazy to turn the channel.

Got the house on lockdown. What is anyone/everyone doing about getting their mail? Wiping down the envelopes? Using gloves?

I haven’t implemented this yet, but plan on doing so soon.

I understand, sometimes I just watch videos of other people playing videogames instead of playing myself.

Bruh, no way is she representative of an entire generation, in context of every generation having chum-blender-brain idiots.

What's different is now we have facebook and snapchat and the young ones use it more. This feels like the wrong thread to make a stand for them, but I was at March for our Lives in DC, so maybe a little empathetic to them.

I just made a box of Kraft Mac & Cheese for the first time in close to 20 years.

Not as yellow as it used to be.

we have a macaroni festival here in Houston. I was looking forward to a nice bowl of Mac and cheese with brisket. It’s on June 19th, I’m holding out hope that it still happens. Haven’t  had Mac and cheese in years

At the gym. Brought my own hand sanitizer. :)

Are gyms safe?  I mean I assume people are breathing, coughing, sweating all over that stuff for a while....

Well FML.  They just shut down the gym at my building.  Was going to go super early when no one else was there.

Considering PB's blood alcohol content, I'm assuming he's automatically immune to most things and just being a little extra cautious.

The gym and work are the only places I’ve gone. But it’s planet fitness so it’s a really big area spread out and there aren’t a lot of people there anymore. Keep a spray bottle with me and wipe down each station or piece of equipment before and after use.

There is a lot going on right now. I know I shouldn’t but it’s more therapeutic for me at the moment

Yea, experts are saying wipe down the equipment before and after you use it and don’t touch your face and you should be okay. Group fitness classes are dicey.

My gym is ****ing enormous and I can go in the middle of the day, so I’m not physically close to anyone, and i really do wipe down all the equipment with a wet towel and use hand sanitizer with overkill frequency.

If I don’t go to the gym I will go ****ing stircrazy. It’s tough to drink with a 3 week old in the house, so I either have to go to the gym daily or it’s gonna be a The Shining, Here’s Johnny situation.

I expect gyms will be closed soon though in a lot of places.  Especially after NYC and the anger at De Blasio going today before they were closed.

So all the Oklahoma casinos seem to be shutting down for a couple weeks, I imagine mine will too shortly.

I assume in a shutdown my department will still have to work. Which honestly wouldn't be a big deal, still isolated from the public.

Wouldn't have to worry about toilet paper 😁 I'd just bring my guitar and xbox and chill for a few days.

You all should sign up for To Hunt A Killer.  Can spend a lot of time with that.

I signed up, this looks relevant to my interests.  Thanks for the suggestion.

Alot of the casinos here in Florida are shutting down. Though the big one: Seminole Hard rock in Hollywood hasn't yet. Though they pretty much shut down everything else the casino but the actual casino. I hope to go tomorrow, if it's still open. One last day of fun before the country shuts down.

I will just binge watch some TV and probably do some spring cleaning.
