@HTTRDynasty that is an unbelievable play by young. Just a ridiculous tackle

How in the heck did he get there so quickly and I understand he wasn't blocked but the speed.  My goodness!

There was a play where Payne was getting double teamed on a run that was designed to go past him and he stuck his arm out and close lined the back and he went from full speed hitting the hole, to a dead stop then some other players tackled him. It was insane.

Payne is our most underrated player.

We went from the worst run defense to a top 10 run defense the first half of his first year, until Smith went down. He is an outstanding tackle.

Payne and Young next to each other is going to be a hell of a lot of fun for use to enjoy the next 3 years. They're both so good against the run too, let alone the pass.

I think hes a more natural 4-3 disruptive DT type as opposed to the space eating 3-4 NT.

He’s a 4-3 1-technique all day. He can take on doubles. He is more of a space eater... but a 3-4 nose is just a space eater. A guy who anchors and stays anchor. Payne has athleticism and can get home, but can anchor as well.

He’s really good, going to get better.  And Payne is our most underrated player.

The thing about Chase is he wants to get better and with his work ethic his skill set will improve some more.  It's early in the season but the dude is playing like a seasoned veteran.

As regards to Payne he's a pain in the side to offensive linemen.  Payne and Chase will be a dominate force for years to come.
