Full wipe is necessary

Recommended Posts

This isn’t about what promising people is in the building.  This is about restarting.  You have to wipe the front office and staff clean.  You put a GM in place from outside and then hire a coach.  If we hire a coach and promote from within in a toxic environment we deserve to fail and fall further into mediocrity.  This is a culture issue.  You let the new GM decide who should be there along with the coach he selects.

Rinse and repeat

I disagree with this poster. it's not fair to generalize and say the entire front office sucks just because Bruce does. We had a great draft last year, potentially the best draft in Redskins history. If we have bright minds in the front office then give them a chance if they deserve it.

Yes - but this is Dan (little Big man) Synder. If this is the best he can do so be it.  Sad thing is this will happen again. Snyder = instability and failure! Groundhog Day Deux!

If that is the case, what is the rationale for firing Bruce? To satisfy the lynch mob?

Full wipe would be nice. Tired of the poop stains in our proverbial undies.

Oh, yeah. On the "proverbial" undies is where I see those stains.

Kyle Smith's drafts have been very good.

The toxicity of the Redskins culture comes from a lack of accountability.  When a trade or a signing occurs, was it the work of Brucifer, Doug, or Dannyboy, or the HC?

We need a clear hierarchy where there is a definitive GM with full control over personnel, and a HC with full control over his staff and who plays.

Beathard turned down a large pay raise and resigned rather than ceding control over personnel to Gibbs. Guys on our staff get ram-rodded by the owner and his office golf buddy. Doug Williams got his job because he said he was good with the organization not having a GM, but making collective decisions.

Its like trying to rebuild a house by building around an old crumbling foundation.  It will never stand for long, because the crumbling foundation has to be removed.  You have to remove all of the crumbling foundation and start from the ground up, because anything short of that may last for a little while, but eventually the unstable parts will collapse and pull the rest down with it.
