If Case is not healthy he shouldn't be playing, period.  You going to tell me Haskins couldn't handle handing the ball off 25-30 times and attempting a few passes only when the down & distance absolutely required it?  The play book today by Callahan has been minimalist at best. In fact you can almost suggest he is calling plays as if a rookie QB is under center to begin with.

Isnt KOC calling plays?

I think we need to see what he can do if only to know if he has any potential or do we need to draft our qb for the future.

Yes, he needs to start so we can see what he can do or draft a QB that can start right away and not in a couple of years.

I don't think you understand how sports work. There are only so many guys on earth good enough to be in the league. Having the bottom of the barrel doesn't mean there aren't tons even worse. You would end up not fielding a team at all, there aren't just studs out there magically waiting to be called upon.

To expand on that though. There is TONS of talent on this team. Just like every NFL team. Coaching plays a bigger role than people give credit for. This team is poorly coached. And it shows.

Dude. There was no ref BS. They blew the whistle BEFORE the fumble ever happened, before the handoff even happened on that play. It was dead already. They had no way to know it would be a turnover.

If anything, not calling that long play a TD for the 9ers screwed THEM, as it didn't get reviewed to see if he'd actually been touched. I'm not convinced he shouldn't have scored.

Bull ****in **** there wasnt..they had no reason to blow the whistle

If we had to know what he could do in the future we never should have drafted him.  I'm fine with him learning on the bench and then getting an offseason of work as the starter.  Besides you all think everything about this team sucks so wait until we've got some better players.

If everything about us is terrible and he plays poorly that could just be the rest of the team dragging him down
