Maybe that will convince Snyder that Allen needs to go. Add to that, maybe we can get a top 3 pick and trade back to fill more holes. We cut the high salaried space takers and try this again. Theres no value in intentionally losing, I wont root for it, it feeds a culture that accepts failure, which some folks up top are in denial about. I feel that it will come naturally. But, I also believe in the long term, which is a thoroughly embarrassed Snyder which will hopefully lead to an Allen-less Redskins. I view a completely abject and bleak season as a form of president-of-football-operations chemotherapy.
Gibbs Hog Heaven
I think with AP motivated as all heck going home, in a football sense, and Cousins, someone I'd never trust personally even given his stellar recent form, under the lights in prime time and his struggles there, we've a great chance for the upset to add the second win to that wish list z. Here's sincerely hoping they do. Hail.

Bruce gets to pretend that he's right while we miss out on a chance at the top pick. Championship!!!
jjpomeroy
Actually, the Redskins have a great chance to win if they are able to do the following: petition the league that in the spirit of Halloween - they should be allowed to dress up in a costume. If the Skins then wear NY Giants uniforms, given his history - Kirk doesn't stand a chance......

They are in straight denial about how bad this is or that it's their fault. I totally believe Snyder doesnt want to fire him because of how close he is to getting a DC stadium, winning is not a priority, that's why our field looked like the Florida Everglades yesterday. SkinsFTW
Highest paid offense in the league. Averaging 8.5ppg since firing the coach. (And were set up with playing a team that was giving up almost 40ppg to everyone else) Championship!!!

Peregrine
If you seriously believe the Redskins have a shot this week... Well then I think its about time you saw a specialist. The Vikings are over 15 point favorites, and almost unheard of scoreline. Vegas is not known for losing. At this point, Vegas is basically saying "The biggest risk and craziest outcome in this game would be if the Vikings only win by 10. Then we might really be in trouble". skins island connection
I'm waiting for the OP to get to the " 3-13; Tell Me It Can Happen Please ". With GW as DC with the Jets, it will be a tad worse than what he did to the Pukes, and the Giants will most likely have begun to grow into a team to contend with next year, but they'll still have their way against the Skins. Malapropismic Depository
We ARE close By virtue of the fact that EVERY team is the league is ALWAYS close. The way this league operates, ANY team can turn it around in a short period of time, no matter how bad they are. A 3-13 team can go 10-6 the following year, and then 13-3, the year after that. History shows numerous examples.

Shkspr
Well, if we're going to keep doing this, then I'll mention that going through FiveThirtyEight's projections, the odds of us going 10-6 this season are 507,068-1. The odds of us going 1-15 are 23-1. Our three best chances for a win are against the Giants (57%), the Jets (49%) and the Lions (37%).

"Within a given year, someone’s odds of being struck by lightning range from 1 in 500,000 to 1 in 750,000." So it's about as likely as getting killed by fireworks or struck by lightning. You play to win the game, anything less is unacceptable. What they should be doing should be done regardless if we win or not, thinking if we lose out will get everyone fired who should all ready be fired makes no sense to me. It's not like they gonna win out even if they try, but they make too much money not to try. Pay me a couple million dollars to not give a ****, please.
