I mean, thats multiple times in a week where it just looks like they playcall would have left someone WIDE open even if it was played correctly. On that play, if Nicholson does stay deep and doesnt drop on the other receiver, a WR is wide open 25 yards down field. That should NEVER happen. Norman made no attempt to drop in, showing he believed he was supposed to follow the WR, and Nicholson made no attempt to stay deep. Best case scenario of that playcall by our esteemed DC is we give up a 30 yard pass play. Worst case is what we just saw, a TD. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
