DeathByLinebacker
Did anyone notice that Denver did just that with Deltha O'Neal? http://www.denverpost.com/Stories/0,1413,36%257E86%257E1765410,00.html Not that O'Neal is Bailey's equal at CB, but it is interesting that another coach made that kind of move. theDIRTYcode
Just to add something to that....Bailey can play WR, I've seen him line up in the slot when he was at UGA. Good hands and fast....he's a better corner though.
Ancalagon the Black
We keep hearing about Bailey's good hands, but all I remember is dropped interceptions and muffed punts.
@DCGoldPants
yup, fumble on a run. I'm all for sending him deep though.
WallyG3
There is a reason why Bailey is not an NFL receiver. He doesn't have NFL hands.
Troy Fakeman
Umm....remember when champ lit it up at WR when Robiskie put him at WR......he could play WR easily, same hands as the next guy...its just that the CB position is the most important...and we cant give that up.. Bang
Mike Shanahan's decision making process lands Delthea O'Neal at WR, and Clinton Portis almost on the IR on a completely idiotic play. Y'know,, the Broncos spending ranks right up there with Redskins spending, and they continually fall short, too... but Mike shanahan is a Genius. Go figure that one out. ~Bang

SonnyJ
You mean the game where the Redskins got spanked, 32-13? I think you may be mistaken...
Troy Fakeman
Negative, Champ played well at WR....as far as the rest of the bums, they got their ass kicked.
SkinsNumberOne
Dallas Cowboys 32, Washington Redskins 13 RECEIVING -- WAS: C.Bailey 1-24 When you want to look up box scores, I found a good site to do it through for all games since 1994 it seems. http://www.jt-sw.com/football/boxes
Bang
Champ lit it up in the last game of 2000 season vs the Cardinals. He ran for a TD out of the backfield, and I think he caught a bomb, too. Bottom line, he never was much for offense. ~Bang

Trevor
Champ's hands make Flem look like Raymond Berry.
Guest Matt Kyriacou
Hey, I am on the Champ bashing bandwagon as much as the next guy. That being said, the bashers are all dead wrong on Champ at WR. He was a great receiver at UGA and the year he was drafted Kiper and others stated that had he been drafted as a WR he would have been the first receiver taken. Pretty impressive considering that draft feautured Torry Holt and David Boston.
xanathos19
I think that if Champ played receiver on a regular basis, he would be fine...if Gardner had two passes thrown his way, you know that he would drop one of them...you can't judge Champ's WR abilities in the NFL, when he has gotten maybe 6 balls thrown his way his entire career...recognize!!
