I wanted Kahale Waring in the 3rd instead of McLaurin. Glad we didn’t do that!

Always took it as a huge mistake on this team’s part not drafting a TE given Reed’s injury history and Vernon’s age

Been clamoring for it for years. This team is dumb.

When he gets concussed it takes him weeks if not months to retire.

I know that was just a mistake, but still funny 😂

Dan sent Reed to Pittsburgh on Redskins 1 this week to see a specialist. As the IR move indicates, it’s not good.

So that's why I saw a twitter picture of Snyder's plane at Pittsburgh this week.  Many thought it was to talk to Tomlin about the HC job.  LOL

Makes sense given the sightings of the plane, good nugget.

Surprised someone still suffering concussion symptoms can even fly, to be honest.

Hate to see this.  While I'm furious at the guy that delivered the illegal hit, it seems that Reed has been living on borrowed time.  I hope he retires because what he is going through just isn't worth it.  I'm really surprised he didn't reach this conclusion on his own.  I mean, if it is taking you this long to recover after a concussion, just give it up already and think about your future.  Why was he even trying to come back?

After 2-3 weeks of him getting injured, the obvious move was to IR him. One could argue, If not sooner. Yet another botch by our crack med staff thinking he could come back, or stating the obvious at this point, should.

Listen, that illegal hit was bad and shouldn't have happened. But do any of us really think it wouldn't have happened again at some point this season? The guy who said he was living on borrowed time was right, and we all knew it.

Another botch by our GM to have faith Reed was going to be available and stay available.

Hunter Henry will be a free agent this summer......he would be my #1 free agent target.

Another TE that cant stay healthy.  That's just what we need.

Their stubbornness also cost us J.P. Holtz. Not a HUGE deal, but would def be nice to have him now.

I sincerely hope Reed retires. There’s no way he hasn’t sustained irreparable damage at this point. He must have enough money. Go use that competitive instinct in another business, brother. You’ve nothing left to prove on the field.

Oh, and **** the Ravens player who jawed him in the first place. Completely unnecessary in a preseason game. I hope nothing but the worst for that carpetbagging franchise. May the devil that is the Modell family forever curse that team. And by the way, that city chased one of the most storied franchises in the NFL away because of their apathy. They deserve nothing but bad karma.

Concussions are weird.

Reed gets a hit to the helmet, and bounces right back up, and continues on his way, like nothing happened.

But he's out for the year.

Mason Rudolph gets hit by a Mack Truck, lays limp for minutes, some think he's paralyzed, and some think he's dead.

But he's back on the field in about 2 weeks.

Yea, I know Reed has had a few concussions before. But still kinda weird.

Reed got up, but started exhibiting concussion symptoms in the locker room at the half.

There was 19 other positions to try and improve at as well.

I'm sure we'll keep trying (and failing) for another 20 years

And TE is as important as any if not more, considering we want to Run and have a rookie QB.
