Tracking former Redskins around the league

Interesting how Gruden seemed to have a fondness of former Redskins and Bruce guys.

I wonder who Gruden would have chosen if it was actually his decision to make.

I bet he'd probably pick people who he was familiar with. Like Joe Barry. Or Ike Hilliard. Or Raheem Morris. Or Sean McVay. Or Jim Haslett.

Then again, if Gruden had his choice, he'd probably pick Wade Phillips. It's not like he'd ever interview Wade and then spurn him.

I had no idea Chris Horton was still in the NFL, but since 2015, Chris Horton was an assistant special teams coach in Baltimore. Since the start of this year, he's been the special teams coordinator. I never had him pegged for a coordinator lol

Word is djax is going to have surgery tomorrow to repair a core muscle injury, and it appears unlikely he’ll play again this season.

So pretty much he torched us week 1 and then was out from 2nd half of week 2 on.

Preston Smith with 2 sacks today, already in double digits.

Crowder with 85 yards.

Add Trent to the list next year.

The former Redskins squad would actually smoke the current Redskins.

Anybody remember Brandon Banks?

He won the CFL's Most Outstanding Player.

https://www.americanfootballinternational.com/hamiltons-brandon-banks-named-cfls-most-outstanding-player/

Banks topped the league in games with 100+ receiving yards (eight), yards after catch (657) and receptions of 20+ yards (21). The Garner, N.C., native finished third with 2,029 combined yards and second in yards from scrimmage with 1,606.

Jim Zorn, the HC of Seattle, plays against Washington in Week 1.

So 1-0 for the defenders and the season hasn’t even started yet. Awesome!!

I'm very interested to see where each of our ex-coaches end up, if people could post that here.

I saw a graphic on TV with Tomsula going to the cowboys.  Don't know if anything was announced or if that was just speculation.

The Rams fans are acting like they're getting the Next McVay, in O'Connell

That'll be interesting. Maybe if the Rams flop again the next few years, they'll make O'Connell their HC and talk about how he's revolutionizing the team by using jet sweeps.

The Redskins are the Head coaching training center for all the other teams (Kyle, Matt, Sean)

Leonard Fournette better get ready to run into a brick wall of defenders at the LOS on every single first down play.
