Lohmiller's FG% was abysmal, yet some fans speak of him as if he was the last great kicker for the franchise.

Funny thing: I can’t remember a big kick he missed.  I can remember a bunch he made, and some long ones too.

Granted it was a long time ago. But my memory is he was clutch and could hit long FGs.

Its possible neither of those things are true. But that’s the recollection of my ~18 year old self.

Brandon Banks nearly cost the game with a 15 yard penalty in a league where there's only 3 downs. Fortunately, Chad Kelly, the former Broncos QB who got arrested for trespassing, scrambled for 20 yards to get the first down and set up a touchdown to take a 1 point lead. 3 minutes to go, Toronto leads with the ball.

I missed this earlier, but https://www.si.com/nfl/steelers/news/pittsburgh-steelers-william-jackson-injured-reserve

Quote

he Pittsburgh Steelers will lose their newly-acquired cornerback for at least four weeks as they place William Jackson on Injured Reserve.

Jackson has been dealing with a back injury since Oct. 19. He has kept him off the field for multiple weeks with the Washington Commanders and left him sidelined at practice during the Steelers entire week of preparation.

Jackson’s placement on IR will mean he needs to miss a minimum of four games.

We absolutely fleeced them with that conditional 2025 7th round pick. Losers. 😎

They took on his entire salary = fleecing.

It might be one of the best trades we’ve made to unload a player we couldn’t use and didn’t want.
