How can they say it's a suicide if they can't confirm "cause" and "manner" of death?

I'm just checking in for when they finally admit they can't prove its a suicide.  I'm frustrated that came out and said it was a suicide first versus confirming, just say he's dead, its bad enough everything around how doesn't make sense, it dilutes the shock that this should not have happened at all.
