3 things:

1. Our Ol has been largely injured the past few years, directly resulting in catastrophic injuries to the running backs and quarterbacks. Trent is one of those guys on the list responsible.

2. When dealing with difficult or abnormal health problems, diagnosis is often very difficult. Expecting a team doctor who spends most of his time tending to less serious medical issues to know the status of a lump on a guy’s head is kind of reaching. This is a specialist situation. The man is a multi millionaire. He can surely figure this out.

3. The offense is going through a total rebuild right now. This is unfortunate, but don’t think he would realistically be a part of the future plans

I wonder if Trent has given THE ultimatum - **** can Bruce, or I am outta here.

Our best hope is that it was just 1 insensitive asshole that pissed him off. Dangling the well being of Haskins (with Trent at LT) to Dan, may be what is needed to rain on the we got Haskins parade.  Dan is quickly in a real pickle here.

To the minions, tell Dan the fans have spoken.  Get rid of him!

I suspect the handling of the medical tumor went something like this:

Trent "hey so i have a tumor that needs to be removed, can you guys cover the surgery?"

FO: "Sorry Trent, this is not a Football related surgery.. you have to cover the cost"

Trent: "Well FU then, trade me"

I honestly don't know how this org would handle this kind of a case but if it went something like above... i side with the FO

I imagine players have health insurance that covers stuff like this.  Trent certainly isn’t the first guy to have issues with the teams doctors and medical staff though.

Something not stacking up here. Whole situation was kept low key, pretty sure Gruden only spoke about it on questioning at the combine.

Gruden even said yesterday it was about 'business'...

You would think the actual facts will spill out soon.

At this point call his bluff. Only way Washington can trade this guy is if the Skins can get a LT of same vaule in return. Other than that why in the hell would we release him.

He'll start losing money come training camp time. So we'll see how this shapes up at that point. Either way just another thing that proves this organization is a joke.

Why is this board still riding the death to Allen mantra. The man has pulled 3 phenomenal drafts out of his ass in a row. What more do you want? It’s nauseating.

The concern here is the man primarily responsible for these still unknown to be phenomenal drafts, could land elsewhere because the Skins FO is filled with too many empty suits.  Bruce being one of those empty suits.

It seems no matter what drama the Skins encounter some fans still desperately want to believe it’s all bad luck or fake news that has no significance to what happens on the field.

Who do you think pissed off Trent?  I highly doubt its a team doctor.

Teams just don't lose their starting QBs and LT's.... unless someone in management is a real asshole. I think its worthy of discussion.

1 - Not all the injuries was a result of the OL. Look at Guice play and tell me that was the result of a poor OL block. Even the freak injuries to Smith/McCoy were fairly common plays that ended up horribly bad.

2 - Okay. Would you go back to the same doctor that misdiagnosed something as serious as a tumor in your head? We don't know it's a mis-diagnosis yet, but something there. We typically have a choice and go elsewhere. For Trent he's seen himself get hurt a lot and this might be the final straw where he doesn't trust the medical staff.

3 - The best OL on the roster who is a leader isn't important in a rebuild? By that logic shouldn't we cut all players 30+ years old?

Are you really defending the organization here? I agree we need to get the details to fully assess, but currently Trent refuses to put on the jersey because he feels wronged. Even if I made $95M throughout my career I'd have to be extremely pissed off to turn down another $13M. This isn't about him wanting more money, but rather that all trust has been broken.

All 3 quarterbacks (not including butt fumble) had leg surgeries last year. That’s some bad ol play. Trent is probably pissed that the team didn’t find the problem with the tumor. But show me a doctor that has the answer to every single problem. It’s always recommended to get a second opinion. These guys are millionaires. They don’t have the burden of debt to prevent them from seeing a specialist.

Yea I’ll defend the org here. They had a stellar draft. We aren’t a contender yet, and should have been shopping Trent anyways to continue the rebuild.  He is on the wrong side of 30, has been injured far too often, and our best OL is sherf, who by the way needs a new contract.

I think it's by design. Snyder needs someone to act as a meat shield for the moves he wants to make. Same can be said for Jay. He needs a coach who has the football knowledge, but also will go with whatever Snyder wants. Kinda spineless, but still useful.

Those fans that hate Allen have to ask - Do they really think Dan Snyder, who only has this team and is very involved just let's Allen do whatever he wants? The spin is that Allen is pulling the strings, but do you really think Snyder would let someone else do that to his team?

So because he's not in their long term plans they don't have to take his medical requests seriously? I'm trying to fit your response into the Williams news we are working with.

So that's kindof rude.  Also, on a public message board, people can kinda discuss whatever they want to.

And since the Patriots do ti better than anybody, which is proven by results, I think comparing to the best isn't the worst comparison you can make.

Sure, we could compare to what the GM of the Cardinal's would do, but what's really the point of that?

I’d rather follow the example of Howie Roseman, Rick Spielman, Will McClay, John Dorsey, Chris Ballard, etc. you know, GMs that don’t rely on wizard coaching and a top 3 QB of all time.

First Brown tanks his 2018 season to force his relase and now this?? WHAT IS GOING ON!!!

Or Brown was plain ****, got benched and then released. That is a huge assumption on your part that he tanked. Why in the world would he do that right after getting a contract extension?

W/L

Super Bowl wins

What else do you judge a GM by?

Plus he comes across as an ass whose sole motivation is self-interest and self-glorification regardless of what it does for or against the team.

I don't care if he's all these things while we win Super Bowls.  We just aren't winning Super Bowls and he's been here for a decade.

Lot's of leople jumping to a lot fo conclusions here.

Hmm... And the plot thickens!!

Here's the conclusions I'm jumping too:

1 - Trent choose to keep his matter with the organization between him and the team.

2 - Adrian, who's a 34 year old RB, has no incentive to tell the media that the only team keeping him employed messed up.

Are you implying because Adrian Peterson didn't know about it that means it doesn't exist?

Hard to draw any type of conclusion.  The only thing confirmed is there is drama.  Given that Trent hasn’t been around and didn’t show up, confirms at minimum there is drama of some type.
