  1. 1. Should Donald Trump be impeached for obstruction of justice?

So let me get this straight:

The GOP wants everyone to believe that Trump held up approving military aid, that had already been approved in a bi-partisan effort, because he was so concerned with general corruption in Ukraine...........all of which was wrapped up and solved.............the day the whistleblower complaint went public?  It was merely a coincidence that all of Trump's concerns with Ukraine's vaaaaaaaaaaaaaast corruption were alleviated on the very day that congress was opening an investigation into why the military aid was being withheld?

Have I got that correct?

Republicans are hard at work spreading bumper stickers sized talking points.  These are more effective than long narratives with 5 witnesses and carefully worded statements that matter when viewed in conjunction with others.

democrats need to stress the following.

- Trump claimed he wanted no quid pro quo... the very day we received the whistle blower complaint.

- They did not release the aid... until two days after congress announced it was investigating

- Trump was caught and these are the actions of a guilty President attempting to cover up his actions after the fact.

short, simple, and they directly refute republican talking points.

The fact is the witnesses are folks who were being played by Trump and his back channel mixed with folks who give off the vibe that they knew more about what was going on than they are willing to say.  The GOP is trying to use a ridiculous argument that because all of these witnesses didn't know from the get-go that something bad was going on, it must mean nothing bad was ever going on.  Again, a truly lame argument.

Just play this over and over.  Ads.  Bring the clip with you to TV appearances.  Tweet it out every hour on the hour.

Must be something in the water of Fresno, or maybe he’s just truly representing the nutjob base.

Hes either doing what he thinks will keep his job or he’s wrapped up in this more personally than we know. Or both. A man doesn’t just change like that.
