  1. 1. Should Donald Trump be impeached for obstruction of justice?

Sondland could be interesting for Trump's side or for America's side. If he caves to the fear of perjuring himself and gives up what he actually knows then Trump will be seen as doing as the one offense detailed by the Founding Fathers as impeachable. On the other side, he is a Trumper and will try to paint his and Trump's actions in as innocuous a way as possible. Moreover, we already know that he was willing to lie before Congress. So, there are doubts whether he will be truthful this time, too.

Fox is re-running a story about Peter Strzok this morning, from July 2018.  Odd time to deflect to that.

Funny though, there's a tweet from Trump in the story complaining because one of the FBI agents was avoiding a subpoena, and that the attorney general should step in.  That didn't age well.

Worry not, he'll be trashed by the GOP members on this committee and later on Fox tonight, as a "Never Trumper Bureaucrat who is part of the deep state trying to pull of a coup"

Same story for the last 40 years.

Mainstream media Waaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!!@!

Struck me too. He really took the dictator's line that the press is the enemy. I'm not sure if I've ever heard that stated in a more blunt and ugly way. Counter that to how the witnesses speak.

Nunes ought to resign in shame. Sadly, he has proven over and over again he has no shame and no honor.

Ahh ok so Nunes is going to "educate the panel" on a debunked conspiracy theory as justification for Trump breaking the law.   Excellent strategy.

I almost cant blame Nunes (almost) because he's not voting himself into office.  He's been in office since 2003.  Who are these morons that keep casting votes for him?  They're the real problem.  He won re-election in 2018 AFTER all those shenanigans during the Mueller investigation.  Ridiculous.

Schiff or another majority member should get a list of all the myriad corruption examples that have occurred in Ukraine during the time frame under consideration.  Then spend their entire 5 minutes asking the witnesses

"Are you aware whether President Trump mentioned concern about corruption case [#1}?

"Are you aware whether President Trump mentioned concern about corruption case [#2}?

"Are you aware whether President Trump mentioned concern about corruption case [#3}?

.

.

.

"Are you aware whether President Trump mentioned concern about corruption case [#25}? etc.

etc.

"So of ALL the corruption occurring in Ukraine during this time frame, why would President Donald Trump mention only  the Burisma case?"

What do the Republicans think outing the whistleblower is going to do for them at this point?
