PartyPosse
The whole point of trusting the draft scouting is that we can let players walk towards obscene contracts and at some point we have to give the younger guys a crack at success. Ryan Andersen needs an opportunity as do Geron, Robert Davis and Quinn. If they don't work out, fine. I'd feel better if they were busts here rather than successes on other franchises because we never gave em opportunity.

This does make the math a bit harder to predict. It's not only what the Redskins do, but also what all the other teams do in terms of fitting into the top 32. Where is gets real messy if how Shamar Stephen made less than Niles Paul but was the final 7th pick awarded. If you look even further, it talks about playing times and other guesses at the formula. That part is a bit unknown. If you get read bored, it's a somewhat interesting real. Clearly, I've been bored before...haha. edit: the skins did get 4 picks, so they still missed something. However, for us outsiders, I think over the cap does a pretty good job/estimation.
RWJ
D.J. Fluker might be an option at OG. He's been an injury concern all of his career but he's good when he's on the field.

I do think we will miss his versatility considering he played LT, OG and RT. RT oddly was his weak point it seemed in that mix. And our depth at O line was think as is. Don't mind losing him but they should upgrade their depth. I hate losing him. He made an injury riddled OL acceptable at times. But he is going to get the opportunity to start in Buffalo. Happy for him. But hate it.

Based of a few cases in the past, I'd be a bit surprised if it's not 4-6 games. (Purely speculation) We are also making an assumption that he'll be able to stay out of trouble until that suspension is lifted. His history suggests that might be tough. I personally would have been intrigued at moving Williams to LG and Ty to LT simply because Trent is starting to lose a lot of his mobility. They've gone two years in a row with a hole at LG with questionable interior depth. My guess is this time they draft a LG high in the draft but thought the same last year. Will see. clskinsfan
What about Clay Matthews as a stop gap situational pass rusher/3rd down specialist? Too much like Kerrigan?

I love the dude but he better start making smarter decisions if he wants to remain a redskin. Next year he'll be earning close to 15 mil with a 2 mil DCH and at an old 32 it may not make sense to keep him around.

They have some sort of superiority complex and honestly think the cowgirls are the best team on earth. All fanbases have their idiot fans, but they seem to take it to a new level. Yeah they do..they think their team was so much better then the rest of the teams in the NFC east that it's comical..nevermind that if the Redskins didn't become injury riddled they would of never won the division. Conn
If they were in on Mosley all the way up to $14-15M, they have to be looking at Earl Thomas. It's just how I think they'd think--double down and make it more likely that both he and Collins look good, which helps cover weaknesses at CB2 and slot corner and maybe even coverage ILB. Also makes Norman's job easier and lets him get aggressive like he needs to be, so call it a triple-whammy considering what he's being paid. We've failed overpaying/over-investing in an entire secondary of studs before but they have to be thinking "but this time we have a young stud DL!" And if Reuben Foster turns into what he could be, honestly you're not looking at a horrible re-imagining of the Seahawks defense Earl Thomas went to SB's with. Then you're an athletic mid-round QB away from surprising some folks. I could see them thinking that way.

He's always been a bit undersized (5'10, 200 lbs), but his strength is flying around and showing incredible range for a FS. He's had leg injuries the past 3 years and will be turning 30. Players in that mold either keep breaking down or become a step slow and just can't make the plays they used too. He's going to be in the Collins/Honey Badger type contract range and there's too much guaranteed money needed to bring him in.
