Whatever we were smokin' the last time we did this was some really good s---, wasn't it? We may need some more of that to get through the season

But now that reality has hit us in the face, how do you all think we'll end the season? Maybe if we adjust our sights downward, we can still achieve some satisfaction if the team performs better than we expect.

Bottom line is I see us getting better toward the end of the season. Banks and Gardner should improve, Marty will soften his stance on the WCO and the players who want to play will be on the field and the rest will be riding the pine.

I agree this once "easy" schedule now looks like climbing Everest.

I doubt though that all the malcontents will be riding the bench for the remainder of the season.

According to what I heard coming out of the stadium, there is a good chance that a big name player may be released in the next couple of days.

My guess is that either Bruce Smith or Michael Westbrook could be outta here based on their attitudes as much as their lack of production.
