The list is laughable at times, no doubt...

Notice, though, where Cousins was drafted lol...

QBs -

Patrick Mahomes

Russell Wilson

Lamar Jackson

Deshaun Watson

Drew Brees

Dak Prescott

Carson Wentz

Aaron Rodgers

Joe Burrow

Tom Brady

Drew Lock

Matt Ryan

Kyler Murray

Teddy Bridgewater

Jimmy Garoppolo

Baker Mayfield

Josh Allen

Sam Darnold

Ryan Tannehill

Matthew Stafford

Cam Newton

Tua Tagovailoa

Justin Herbert

Kirk Cousins (3rd round)

A few notable QBs drafted beneath him:

Ben Roethlisberger

Philip Rivers

Ryan Tannehill being drafted higher than Cousins is hilarious. I love to trash Cousins as much as the next guy, but ESPN took it just a little far lol

Kirk aside, many of those reporters who made the picks are clearly clueless when it comes to football.  They don't understand the value of the QB position in the modern NFL.  They drafted like it was fantasy football.

Not as crazy as real life.

Who would have thought that in the 2012 draft, Tannehill would be a better pick than RG3 ?

I remember early in the 2011 season, Tannehill was a pretty hot topic amongst football heads for QB#2, until RG3 blew the doors off of college football

Meanwhile between 2012 and 2013, Matt Barkley and Landry Jones went from consolation prize QBs to doormats over the course of one season. I still remember the debates about Luck-RG3-Tannehill-Barkley-Jones being the best QB draft in years.

Tannehill AND Cousins were much better picks than Griffin.

Chad Dukes on the radio today said Kirk is better than Eli. Eli was only successful because of the line he had in those superbowls run. Not sure if i totally agree with him. Eli doesn't escape the pocket and Tyree doesn't catch that ball over his head Eli would have one less SB ring. Don't think Kirk would have been as elusive as Eli was.
