Posted December 1, 2003 Share Posted December 1, 2003 The N.O. game re-raised the issue of coaches putting in long hours (remember SOS's line about "Hayslett" spending long hours in the office?) and reminded me of one of my favorite newspaper typos of all time. Early in the Joe Gibbs era, the Washington Post described how Joe often stayed overnight at Redskins Park, sleeping on a sofa in his office. Only they wrote that "Gibbs often sleeps on a coach in his office." (!!) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
