Riggo-toni
We cut Wilkinson when he wouldn't take a pay cut from his admittedly bloated 3.5m salary. But, we could've kept him and stayed under the cap. We let him loose cuz we wanted to extend Champ, but that fell through anyway. Considering how close most of our games have been, and how the DL has so often been to blame, would we have won significantly more games w/ Big Daddy still in the lineup? I will confess, I haven't bothered to see how he's been doing in Detroit ...cuz who gives a d@mn about the Lions??....

NoCalMike
Umm if anyone reviews the stats from last year. Our D-line performed better when he was not on the field.
jbooma
BDW is looking very good in a detroit uniform. He was a wrecking ball in the Green Bay game
Kilmer17
We lost with him, we're losing without him.
Riggo-toni
He was playing injured last year, which is why his stats sucked eggs.
Novato
At least BDW could stop some running backs.
Posse81
Would not have made any difference. And before anyone says it, keeping Kenny Watson would not have changed anything either.
Symbol
With what we had before Russell, no. Once we signed Russell, yes. BDW would have taken some double teams and allowed our blitzing LB's to get inside, or even allowed Russell to beat a single team, causing the opposing QB to rush out of the pocket or back, where our DE's have been. frankbones
Definitely would have made a difference. How could it be worse????????
NoCalMike
The Run defense last year was based on Daryl Gardner, not BDW. BDW + Stubblefield for what, 3 years, produced a steadily SH!T rush defense. Once Gardner came in, the run defense magically got better. Letting him get away was more of a mistake then cutting BDW. AMEN!! Darryl was playing so well last year...should've been in the Pro Bowl (if that merits anything.) Sorry to see what has transpired in Denver. You wonder if that would have happened if he was still in DC...DG and Russell makes a pretty formidable middle 2. Interesting to see what happens with DG in the offseason...back in DC?
