Is it Philly in general or eagle fans?  I've been to events in Philly and gotten well and truly drunk at their crappy bars.  Never had an issue with the natives.  I never hear basketball fans talk about violent 76er fans.  I haven't been to hockey or baseball games there though.

But eagle fans?  Universally loathed by NFL fans.  I've seen them on tv and in person acting like absolute idiots for decades.

Several years ago, I spend Thanksgiving at the Sands casino ( I think, I was insanely drunk). When I was walking back to my room with my Skins hoodie on a security guard stopped me and basically said "I wouldn't wear that around here".

I feel bad for the elderly gentleman. Gotta be thinking "I survived to 100 for this ****?!?!"

Either way, win or lose, Philly's gonna get burned down tonight by those idjits. :ols:

Wonderful, they'll go to the Super Bowl and we won't. That makes me feel 0% better.

Sadly I agree. Can't even win at rooting for other people to fail :(

Zim is better than this, his team is having a meltdown.

They're still on a high from last week and it looks like they haven't come down yet.

So is it just eagle fans that are ridiculous or have I been lucky in that town?

Personally, had a terrible experience in New York as a Skins fan. We couldn't even finish the game, got into it with multiple people around us and left sometime in the 3rd quarter. People were throwing beer at us.

The game I went to in Philly was fine.

Is it paranoia if everyone shares the same thought?

What a crap game. I thought the Vikes were supposed to have a defense.

WTF Am I supposed to do during Super Bowl?

Jags failed me.  Freaking Vikings are failing me.

I can't freaking root for the Eagles or Pats.

........guess I'll just watch an old Redskins Superbowl game on YouTube ?

Seriously, I have lived with the Dan Snyder mess for two decades and apparently that's not enough. I have to live in the region with the Cheatriots, the only team that ever beats them is the f-ing Giants, I have to watch the scumbag Seahawks go to two Super Bowls, ad now this crap.

If there's a God, he wants me to hate football.

New Yorkers are assholes, and seem to be proud of it, so I'm not surprised.

This will be the first Super Bowl I actively skip out on since Ravens/Giants. Even the halftime show is offensive.

We must learn to control it, to focus it to serve our interests, and then hit sports books across the country.
