I didn't take it that literally, I think they meant 47-50 in Georgia "jibes" with where he is nationally in the sense that his national numbers makes that Georgia number seem realistic, not that they match up verbatim. I think he's just trying to point out that the demographics and underlying numbers are realistic here, as opposed to the other Georgia poll from a week or so ago.
