Beto talks about "raising the roof" yet he lives in a house with a fixed roof.

Edit: For context

I always thought Diamond And Silk were the Colbert Report of black chicks??? Beto calling for open borders I see...

”Not only should we not waste money on an ineffective boarder wall we should waste money on tearing down existing walls”

Nah. Colbert Report was a parody in which the audience was in on the joke. Diamond and Silk are two people who knew they could make some bucks by being the token black friends of the Fox News crowd.

@LD0506, I think of you as a beloved relative, specifically the uncle that continually sends those FWD:FWD:FWD:FWD:FWD:FWD emails about politics*, but that 70% tax rate one doesn't even make sense. Is she upset? Isn't this supposed to support that idea? Am I missing something?

*What's nice is my uncle doesn't actually do this, so you're really stepping up and filling a void here...

Amusing.....

I took it more as a comment on the FOX/Trumpy demographic having the ****s, the fits and the blind staggers about even the suggestion of taxing the rich because SOCIALISM!! like they've been told to, even though they have no idea what it entails, in much the same way they did over a biracial couple in a Cheerios ad or gay marriage or immigrants or the Black Panther movie or.........

Bernie would be 79 years old on election day and 86 years old his last year in office if he attempted two terms.

I'm sorry I'm not trying to discriminate against the elderly here but we don't need a president who's of nursing home age.

It's a sad fact that your senses and mind dull when you age and we need to consider putting a law in for a maximum age for president.

We have a minimum why not a maximum for almost the same reason?

It's still Feb '19, I am of the opinion that this is a good time for Bernie and Biden to "get in", just so they can run their course and move on before the convention and campaign next year.

I'm a dreamer but I'd still love to see a politician shake off the ego and hubris and admit that they were NOT "the answer", not bettin' on it though........

Bernie and Joe will still be in the race when the voting starts next February but will find out they won't get as much support as they think they will. Joe is probably gone after Super Tuesday. Bernie stays in until the end but his impact; isn't like 2016.

I don't know if Bern is popular enough with some of his ideas to be embraced by a political party. We'll see how the field goes, because the Democratic primary field now is absolutely crazy. And that's without Biden.

From that scrum who do you all see as the favorite so far to emerge as the nominee?

It's funny how Biden's rep has flipped. I remember when he was "Crazy Uncle Joe" with foot in mouth disease.

That's hard to gauge. Probably,  need to see a debate or two. All, I can guess right now; Kamala Harris and even she had a misstep already.

Amy K. Had a town hall yesterday; anyone see it?
