Hogan won a lot of points for his early handling of the pandemic but he's fallen back down to where he was for me. I didn't vote for him last time around and I wouldn't next time either.

I moved from Northern Virginia to Baltimore.  There was a plan to bring Metro-like system to Baltimore (called the red line).Apparantly, Hogan killed it.

It doesn't make sense to me at all.  This region appears almost dead to me, unlike the DC area.

Joe tweets the right stuff.

Joe did not want to run.  He felt it necessary because Trump is an eminent danger to this country.  I am reminded of this:

Quote

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” ― Edmund Burke

Biden is a good man.  Not a great man, but a good man willing to do something when he should be retiring and resting on his laurels.

He started off so nicely barking back at trump and getting PPE on with his wife's help. But I think he lost many people when it started to get bad and he said it was up to the counties to take care of their own. He would not make their decisions for them. That was trumps lines to the Governors!!  It was a lame deflection of responsibility - just like for trump.

Um...why?

That story is absolutely FULL of holes, and those with the information that needs to be verified refuse to allow people to see it in order to verify.

Oof.  I’m sorry.

Lol.

There are some good things here.  For one, housing is much cheaper.  I don't live in the city per se, but it's only 10 minutes from me.

Because it's not up to them to decide. They let other stuff much more egregious go by. This really looked like pointed censorship regardless of if it was or not.

My preference would be to lock down both twitter and facebook permanently by declaring them detrimental to people health. But that's not reasonable.

Twitter has a right to censor or publish whatever they want, just like ES has a TOS that we agree to. I don't care either way, only like 2% of the population is on Twitter so it really doesn't matter.

There's enough fact checking on that NY Post story that anyone with a working neuron knows it's BS, those who've been drinking the orange kool aid by the jug full for the last four years will lap it up.  At the end of the day, it won't move the needle one iota.  Twitter and Facebook can save their censorship for things that can be proven as lies.

That's why I added regardless of if it was or not".  You are of course right hey can do what they want - just like stores mandating masks. Private business has a right. But in this climate it appeared to be selectively censoring. They should be consistent regardless of if they "have to" or not.  Let's see how it turns out. Should be interesting.

the apprentice is really the only thing that paints him a successful businessman. 5+ bankruptcies (on types of businesses that are very hard to bankrupt), multiple companies closed due to fraud, dozens of stories of unpaid bills to contractors and other creditors... he's FAR from being a good businessman

i know someone who is in charge for commercial real estate for a major bank (top 5 in the US) and said theyve been burned by him and wont even give him a loan anymore, but knows a lot of banks that still will. even after the bankruptcies and unpaid debts. its crazy

Bankrupting a casino should tell you all you need to know about his business “acumen”. I mean, casinos are freaking ATMs. Legalized theft. And he ran one into the ground. It makes me think he’s not as lazy as it seems because you really have to work hard to do that.

He'll probably have to if he wants to avoid the big house

I think that's the obvious subtext. Part of me wouldn't mind, but only if he takes Gym Jordan, Mitch McConnell, Gaetz, Barr, and all the other traitors with him.
