Well don't know enough about the Florida specific constitution but can/do states normally have the right regulate medications (Imagine they do as legalizing it in the first place indicates that right)? If so not sure how this would be legally consistent. How would Florida be able to ban any drug if the justification was it was being used for medical purposes?

We'll see how this plays out. I feel like this is an issue Trump may go along with, while not leading on.  Basically if there is overwhelming bi-partisan support from Congress & The Senate, Trump will sign something, but I don't believe Trump is going to push on this.

As far as Sessions goes.....well, no.

http://www.fox10phoenix.com/news/us-world-news/fentanyl-shipment-from-china-worth-17-million-seized-at-philadelphia-port

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Federal authorities seized a large amount of fentanyl they say was shipped to a Philadelphia port from China.

U.S. Customs and Border Patrol officers seized 110 pounds of the deadly opioid after a routine check at the Area Port of Philadelphia.

A drug-detecting K9 alerted officers to the fentanyl inside barrels of Iron Oxide that had been shipped from China.

Officers discovered 50 packages that contained sealed bags of a white, powdery substance.

The estimated street value of the 110 pounds of fentanyl was $1.7 million.

CPB says their fentanyl seizures have been trending upward over the last several years. During 2016, the first year CBP started tracking fentanyl seizures, officers seized 440 pounds nationally.  That number grew to 951 pounds in 2017, and 984 pounds through the end of April 2018.

The stench surrounding drug companies is intense, and not just with opiates.  Nobody is questioning these clowns, hiring former beauty queens to take doctors out to lunch 5 days a week and inviting them to be `guest speakers` at cough-medical conference-cough in Belize.

Some of these reps making $180k are managing $800,000 territories.  There is no other industry in the united states where salespeople have such light bags with such high salaries.  Imagine the margins involved.  Any other industry you would need to manage 5-10 million $ in sales to justify that type of salary.  Their margins have to be 90 percent.  Its disgusting.

Next time you go to the doctor youre going to get a prescription for the drug that had the rep that provided the best perks.  Just keep that in mind

Filthy industry that is NEVER brought up in healthcare reform.  And i dont even blame the drug companies, i blame the american public

In other news,  CA Marijuana dispensaries just finished a 75% off clearance sale on all products due to new regulations that went into effect July 1st.  I read that it had something to do with the way the product is tested before it goes on shelves.  So basically anything that didn't meet the new requirements had to be off the shelves by July 1st.

For reference, 1/8ths that would normally go for $50, were going for $10 or less.  It was insane.  Most shops had an hour wait time being advertised.

It was a glorious week! :)

I can't get over the commercials that say "Ask your doctor about ..."

How about you don't ask your doctor to prescribe medicines with serious side effects for conditions you didn't think you had until you watched wall-to-wall commercials.
