In short, the court of appeals has ruled that any current of former executive employee may completely ignore any congressional oversight.  And Congress' sole remedy is to shut down the government, or to impeach federal officers (without any evidence, since it's being denied.)

Don't forget, also listed, is citing them for contempt of Congress.  From Wiki:

Quote

Under this process, the procedure for holding a person in contempt involves only the chamber concerned. Following a contempt citation, the person cited is arrested by the Sergeant-at-Arms for the House or Senate, brought to the floor of the chamber, held to answer charges by the presiding officer, and then subjected to punishment as the chamber may dictate (usually imprisonment for punishment, imprisonment for coercion, or release from the contempt citation).

I suggest they start arresting people and bringing them before Congress, and if they're uncooperative, jail them.  They want to play games, time to get serious.

Yea I don’t really understand what the Legislative is doing asking the Judicial to join the fray by making a legal decision.  The shame!!

Democrats don’t have the testicular fortitude for that.

They do in the House.

The House has the law enforcement ability to go out in the world, grab people off the street (including current government officials), physically drag them to Capitol Hill, and detain them?

My understanding is exactly where they can go in carrying out their duties has never really been tested.  For example, they can *paraphrasing* force a Congressperson to come to work when they refuse to.  Even if you say they can’t leave the Capitol grounds to carry out their duties, I’m sure there can be some creative ways to make things happen.  But again, the Dems don’t have the stones.

^^Can we get the same judge to rule the same way for White House Occupant based on his written answers to Mueller's questions?

not the same judge, but if you ask enough times your likely to find someone who can be bought.
