I don't know if this is the word the asshat on Fox said. Or if this is Trump believing that Presidencies and Reigns are the same thing. Wondering whether this is Trump, referring to himself in the Third Person, or some subordinate with the password to the First Tweet, who thought he was posting to a sock puppet account instead of Trump's. Busch1724
The thread of tweets from Senator McCollister was posted earlier. Here's the response from the state's GOP: https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/456290-nebraska-gop-tells-republican-lawmaker-who-said-party-is-enabling-white The Nebraska Republican Party on Monday called for GOP state Sen. John McCollister to re-register as a Democrat after he accused the party of enabling white supremacy in the United States. “John McCollister has been telegraphing for years that he has little if nothing in common with the Republican voters in his district by consistently advocating for higher taxes, restrictions on American’s Second Amendment rights, and pro-abortion lobby,” Nebraska Republican Party Executive Director Ryan Hamilton said in a statement. “His latest false statement about Republicans should come as no surprise to anyone who is paying attention, and we’re happy he has finally shed all pretense of being a conservative.”

There actions pretty much since 2009 have sealed their fate. Millennials and GenZers will be mostly in control 10 years from now and they won't be Republican for the most part. Yeah, well that‘s when they stop shooting their own and start shooting everyone else (more so than they are already). Dramatic rise in mass shootings from right wing radicals IS going to happen. Unavoidable at this point.

Charles Hugh Smith, known for his Of Two Minds blog, like many other market bears, has been calling for a painful end to this bull run for a while now. “Nothing the Fed could do will restore a fragile, speculation-dependent, debt-bubble economy to any sort of health,” he wrote. “Whatever the Fed does, it further distorts a massively distorted system, increasing the odds of a catastrophic re-set.”

Here's the worst part about all of this. Had the GOP not gone full send to the shallow end the gene pool they could have stayed in the game and been a true and necessary conservative voice as we move forward, but now they've all but guaranteed that we will take a hard shift to the Left and all of its warts. 1 hour ago, Sacks 'n' Stuff said: Yeah, well that‘s when they stop shooting their own and start shooting everyone else (more so than they are already). Maybe even a full century. It's like a myth, a rumor, a mystery that can't actually be proven. It's Ted Cruz liking porn on twitter, wide stances in an airport bathroom stall, trolling for teenage girls at the mall, Jerry Falwell Jr. with his wife and the Poolboy in Miami. You're describing the death of morality in politics. Which I suspect was never there. But they used to have to try to look moral, to keep their jobs. Now the Rs, at least, have decided that their spin machine means getting caught doesn't count any more.

I've described the faking of mortality for about 100 years that led to this moment in history. Sacrificing their souls to a guy who didn't even pretend to be moral until 5min ago. Meanwhile.... this moment back in 2012

You know, I doubt it. Change is scary, even if its good or necessary. Our brains are wired to minimize past negatives and accentuate past positives (nostalgia). There will always be a place for a conservative movement, pricipled or otherwise. People who like the status quo or the past will gladly take it over change the left represents (or the other side paints it as representing). We'll get a cycle or two of progressive policies, probably most suceed but maybe some don't and the right wing rhetoric will swoop in and we'll see a new Contract with America or Tea Party or whatever and they'll suddenly be right back in it. Besides, so much of how our government works is based around land voting, and that's not changing in a decade.
