Trump will probably replace Acosta with Epstein himself.

Is there some kind of law regarding "acting" positions?  Like is there any reason to actually try to get them confirmed instead of just leaving them how they are?

So I'm not really seeing a whole lot of reason to bother nominating.

If you want to keep replacing every 210 days then no. Not going through the Senate might be the intended goal for Trump. Chalk it up as another reform we'll have to visit after this administration is over.

Having all these acting positions are bad for business just because no one know who to report to. And no one respects the person anyway cause we all know they shouldn’t be there. This is no way to run any organization, let alone our government.

It does make you wonder if that’s actually his goal. What else can be accomplished like this?

Its one thing to have a vision for the country and hire people no one likes but you think can pull your vision off. But this is just piss poor management. You can’t get anything accomplished like this other than poor performance.

Having Acting position holders is definetly a loophole around the confirmation process, this is intentional.
