I see Trump winning reelection easily. 270 should be no problem for him to get.  I also think the GOP will win back the House and keep the Senate in 2020.

2020's the dark era of America.  Expect more Trumpster politicians to win in 2020.

😭

I think that's a bit much. Im willing to bet most of the people who voted dem in the midterms did it because they felt like he is a horrible president and the Repubs ran a corrupt government.

And i think its just as possible this motivates dems to get to the poles as repubs, cause Muller aint gonna save you.

However, the only things unusual about it, in the Trump administration, are that

1). He admits his ignorance.

2). And claims that he wants to remedy it.

Trying to decide whether to necro the SDNY thread or put it here.  Erring on the side of not bumping since it's only thread adjacent to that one.

Real classy to slouch over white house furniture as if he's at a cookout or something.

The federal prosecutor who helped bring down “Pharma Bro” Martin Shkreli and is leading the Brooklyn U.S. attorney’s case against two former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. bankers and Malaysian financier Jho Low has been tapped as the office’s acting chief of the Criminal Division.

Jacquelyn Kasulis succeeds Seth DuCharme, who will join Attorney General William Barr’s staff, the U.S attorney in Brooklyn, Richard Donoghue, said in a statement Monday.

DuCharme is a former deputy U.S. marshal who joined the office in 2008 after attending Fordham University School of Law and clerking for U.S. District Judge Richard Owen in Manhattan. He has served in a series of units in the Brooklyn prosecutor’s office, including General Crimes, Violent Crimes and Terrorism as well as National Security and Cybercrime.

Quote

Mark Lesko, a former supervisor of the Town of Brookhaven in Long Island, New York, has been named Donoghue’s chief assistant, according to a statement. Lesko, who was an assistant U.S. attorney in the office from 2002 to 2009, previously served as chief of the Criminal Division in the U.S. attorney’s Long Island office.

Lesko succeeds Bridget Rohde, who served as the acting U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York from March 2017 through January 2018, when she was named Donoghue’s chief assistant. Rohde, a prosecutor in the office for 17 years, serving as chief of the Criminal Division and deputy chief of Organized Crime, will become special counsel to the U.S. attorney.

What a ****ing moron. It's astonishing how inept the foreign policy is under Trump. I mean, not astonishing that it's inept, but that the GOP has allowed it to become this bad.

Anyone thinking Nikki Haley is a future president is delusional. She's tainted forever, for being part of the Trump administration.

If she got 77 votes, that means it was at least somewhat bipartisan, right?  Seems like a good thing.

If Democrats weren't ******* afraid of the right-wing smear machine, they would be making the very valid case for American citizen's deserving equal representation in government.

You assume the mainland cares. Most mainland americans have no idea that these people are fellow US citizens. Of course even if they did, they aren't real Americans like people in the heartland, huh?

Dems need to start fundraising for a program to help Puerto Ricans move to Florida and vote.  :)

No cause she didn’t leave in protest, she carried Trump’s message when at the UN and she hasn’t done anything but support him since
