The Redskins have opened their 2019 season with two losses. Both against Divisional foes. Now they get to close out Week 3 at home on Monday Night against the visiting 1-1 Chicago Bears. The Bears don't have much of an offense but seem to have what may be an elite defense.

On the flip side, the Redskins have a developing passing attack and a disastrous defense. The Redskins haven't had a Defense this vanilla since Mike Nolan received his ice cream. Oh, and the Redskins already have more guys on IR then any other team this season.

Will the Redskins finally put one in the win column?

As usual, poll closes at kickoff. Go vote!

Evil?!  You all are definitely not seeing the same POTUS as I am, although that's been obvious since I decided to come back to check out the forum.  What's so evil about what he's done since being elected?  "Actions that are outright unqualified evil".  Makes no sense.

Child Interment. Setting up child separation camps with no plans or mechanisms to reunite children with parents is downright evil. When we are talking about Trump, we are often not talking about right or wrong, or degree, but good versus evil.

He is perpetrating Nazi works and attempted to do it on a Nazi level. This is why White Nationalists and Nazis have flocked to him. This is why he quotes, paraphrases, retweets, and enacts Nazi platforms.

So you're saying 63 million people "are a problem"!?

The US population is 325 million.

Think about how dumb your average person is, which is pretty dumb.

Half of the population is dumber than that person.

162.5 million people are dumber than the average dumb person.

So yes, 63 million people could very easily be a problem.

This is how much of the country felt when they heard about this...

For a guy that started following politics in 2016, he’s certainly well-versed in the whole “Hillary is a master criminal” foolishness.

Not easy to make or keep friends when you’re regurgitating that trash in the work lunchroom everyday, I suppose.

@Dan T.And to me, this is an unforgivable line. You can't say, "Yeah, he did Nazi things, but..." Once you do the Nazi thing. Once you destroy a part of America's soul by doing that... there is no redemption. Or at the very least, there is no redemption without a tremendous effort to be contrite and to do good deeds, plus a herculean effort to undo your damage. So far, this President hasn't even begun the process of doing that.

We can argue about tax reform and whether piling on debt at an unprecedented rate for limited benefit is a good or bad thing. Heck, after thirty years of trickle down not trickling down, I'm okay with people debating in the issue. I don't get how people still are believers, but I can understand it in the same way that I understand why people would fall for the lure of socialism, communism, etc.

Nazism is different. Nazism is rooted in hate, racism, and genocide. It's evil. Period. There's no debating that it's evil. There are no "fine" Nazis. There were fine Germans, but they were not Nazis.

If Burg is pulling out the Nazi references and you weren't sure this was bad already, be prepared.  I know he is loathe to pull out that comparison and probably thought a lot about it before he did it.  A lot of times people scream Nazi too easily, something I'm positive he doesn't suffer from.

You're right. I have screamed at people who have done that before. I hate when the term is lazily used. Here, it's appropriate. That saddens me to no end. That my country could do this. That a large block of people will swallow their tongues over it or even embrace it, makes it only worse.

You're confusing anybody that comes in here with conservative views as "bringing MAGA bull****" and that's not fair.  "Sloped forehead garbage".  Wow.

Did I specifically cite you?

No, I did not. Trust me, I'm not bashful, if I'm going to lay an accusation at your feet I'll tag you in it to make sure you know.

That said, if the shoe of my generalization fits you, then lace that sucker up.

History will not look kindly upon Donald Trump, for a number of reasons.  Neither will the spotlight of history miss those who abetted his deeds.

Top five six, off hand:

- Child separation as a purposeful deterrent to families seeking asylum

- Disparaging and damaging relationships of long-standing democratic allies while propping up despots

- Libeling law enforcement leaders as a defense against investigations

- Disregard of U.S. intelligent services when they disagree with his warped world view. "I believe Putin."  Jesus God almighty.

- Serial, pathological lying

- Coarsening the public discourse from the seat of power

This "National Emergency" thing might also make the list. I look at it as a Pandora's Box. It is a very thin line to go from that to... The President is a King who can rule the nation by decree and the other branches are irrelevant.

Don't even go down that path.  Assuming you voted for Hillary, we all know what she did, and holy hell, she's "still" not in jail!  Trump was TV personality during those years and what the hell do you think is happening to Trump right now, and for no reason.  I'm not full of anything other than respect for Trump the President.  I could care less what he did before 2016.

If you don't think New Mexico is rife with garden spots (many of which are indeed kept so by the efforts of immigrants), you've never been here.  Please use right wing douchebaggie Arizona when you wish to cast these sorts of geographical aspersions.  😉

Patent disregard for the separation of powers and the Constitution.

Symphathizing with Nazi's and the Klan.

Being a Russian pawn

Pathological lying about things that are instantly able to be proven false.

Abdicating the position of US leadership in the world through NATO and the UN.

His outright racism.

The gutting of the Republican party

Conspiracy with the Russian government

Gutting of US Federal agencies to the point that they are functional in name only

One side posts gross numbers, the other counters with percentages, neither one advances understanding of the issue. Both may be accurate without addressing any underlying truth.

Thats the most frustrating. Especially when it’s a person you know understands the differences between a nominal figure, a normalized figures, an average and a mean, etc. they’re just pushing and agenda and try to pretend they’re not.

People can recite statistics. It’s understanding them where they fall short, and many times it’s intentional.

Not even in time. Current political scientists aren't too high on him now.

Donald Trump is rated the worst president in American history by a group of 170 political science scholars. Being ranked 44th and last among U.S. presidents classified Trump as a failure, according to the survey’s parameters.

On the other hand, this group selected Abraham Lincoln as the best among all presidents in the history of the American Republic since 1776.

Trump’s predecessor, Barack Obama, took eighth place, and was also the highest ranked among the five living presidents. Obama was in 18th place during the last survey four years ago. Among the three other living presidents, Bill Clinton ranked 13th, Jimmy Carter, 26th and George W. Bush, 30th.

The ranking of presidents by order of greatness was determined by members of the Presidents & Executive Politics section of the American Political Science Association. These scholars completed an online survey between December 2017 and January 2018.

Quote

In its sixth presidential ranking since 1982, 157 scholars surveyed by the institute ranked Trump the third worst president of all time after Andrew Johnson (who was impeached) and James Buchanan (whose presidency was followed by the Civil War).

The Siena survey, released Thursday, is conducted after each new president has had a full year in office. It asks presidential scholars, historians and political scientists to rank the presidents according to 20 different categories.

Because the survey is conducted after only one year in office, the sitting president normally comes in somewhere toward the middle of the pack as "scholars begin to observe their accomplishments, assess their abilities and study their attributes," said Don Levy, the institute's director, in a press release.

- Firing the head of the FBI because he failed to promise that he would shield the members of your staff from the counterintelligence investigation that hadn't even gotten started yet.

That one should have started the impeachment proceedings, as soon as it came out.

Come on now, life long Republicans in the intelligence community recognizing a possible threat to the country and opening an investigation to look into the validity of such threat(s) is obviously the fault of AOC and the progressives.
