Duece Staley could be a Skin next year!!

I like his style. He's low key and determined. He can catch the ball out of the back field, and also picks up the blitz better than most backs in the league. With all the free agent RB's coming out next year, I think he will be the best fit for our team.

How much is he asking for. I think we can let Betts and go, and all the other RB we have, and pick up Staley. Dillion has also expressed some interest with joining the Skins. Fred Taylor will also be a free agent next year? As of next year we should be ten million under the cap, can't we afford a high prices feature back to take some pressure off of Ramseys?

Fraud Taylor would be a perfect fit! He also played for Spurrier at UF! This guy is awesome, and I would love to see him in the B and G. The problem is, he is a warm weather back. He played at UF and was drafted by JAX. Could he survive the winter months up north? I would like Staley. All the time NFC East teams are grabbing Skins players. It's time we turned the tide, and started picking up players from NFC East teams, namely Philly!

duce held out because he wanted to be paid like a top-ten running back. bull-sh*t. the last thing we need on this team is an overpaid punk-ass b*tch. the dude is overrated. he is the third best (maybe second) RB on his own team. what makes you think he'd be better than betts or even candidate?

He currently is one of the top ten highest paid running backs.

Trust me, as an Eagles fan, Duce would be a great addition to any football team, but he is not a feature back.

He has great hands, blocking ability, anhd power, but he is a 3 yard per carry back and that just doesn't cut it anymore.

No that's not what I'm saying. Projectively how much will we be under the cap next year. I figure atleast 10 million because we're not going to be able to sign Champ. With that in mind we would have more than enough money to sign the D-line help we need, and also a back that can catch, run, and block. Somebody to put some pressure on defensive coordinators.

I believe Fred Taylor signed a new contract with the Jags.

Duece will want to much $$$, I'll pass.

What about a guy like Garrison Hearst. He is putting up decent numbers this year and still seems to have a little left in the tank. He is supposed to be pretty good on blitz protection, can catch the ball out of the backfield.

I don't know his contract status but I expect the niners to make Barlow the feature back after this year. So obviously I'm assuming the guy will be available.

At his age, Garrison would probably be a relatively cheap pickup and a nice piece to rotate with Betts if we are looking at next year as the year. Also brings good veteran leadership.

I'd rather have Dillon than Staley. Fred Taylor is far too injury prone. However, I would just make an exact contract for the three. Whichever accepts the terms, we take. If not, we draft a RB.

For all the Betts, Candidate, Rock cheerleaders: these guys wouldn't start on 90% of the other NFL teams. We need a weapon. Betts was a stretch from the start. Candidate gets tackled too easy. Rock is not a FB, probably our best option at TB now. McCullough? Watson? Remember when this issue mattered?

It will probably be easiest to find a good RB in the draft.

What round was Rudi Johnson?

My suggestion: Trade for Lee Suggs!
