If any of you watched Inside The NFL on HBO then you know Dan stands alone in picking the Skins to beat the Chiefs this week.

Overall records for Inside the NFL hosts:

Dan Marino 22 - 7 (last week 11 - 3)

Jerry Glanville 21 - 8 ( 11 - 3)

Nick Buoniconti 23 - 6 ( 10 - 4)

Cris Collinsworth 20 - 9 ( 10 - 4)

Len Dawson 20 - 9 ( 9 - 5)

ok . . . I on the other hand fear that it will be all Chiefs and no Indians on Sunday, for a third consecutive week.

The Chiefs only have one threat on offense, Gonzales, and if the Redskins' defenses steps up and they put someone other than Sam Shade on him they should at least be in the game.

I think Banks will give the team an early boost, but to maintain that something good will have to happen.

If the Redskins get a quick td from Banks and the offense it could have a snowball effect for the rest of the team.

If the Chiefs come out and get an early break on a kick return or Redskins turnover, then we are probably looking at a repeat of the SD game.

One benefit here is that Priest Holmes and Trent Green are not Brett Favre and Ahman Green.

I'd leave Shade in run support, have Barber and Terrell double Gonzalez, and count on Champ and Smoot to hang with their guys one-on-one for most of the time. Then I'd let Pierce show me what he has doing his best impression of LaVar for 4 quarters, but keep him out of pass coverage.

I know it won't happen, but given the Chiefs have a preference for throwing the ball, and that their receivers are dinged and less than deadly, I'd man Smoot and Green on the outside with their receivers all day, and I'd put Bailey on Gonzalez all alone, using the rest of the guys to zone up on pass plays or smother run plays. We won't do it, but, if we did, we'd stop this team cold smile.gif.

Art For the New Def Coord.

It makes too much sense.

We have faced them in preseason and saw the passes going to Gonzalez so I don't expect them to not gameplan for this.

And the way George and Sonny were on Marty's a$$ this week if he doesn't make defensive adjustments he is going to frown again on Monday.
