Their version of the crazy **** we have going on?

It's almost as if there is some kind of viral outbreak happening that manifests itself differently in different countries.

We now have an openly racist Government who are in effect telling highly skilled migrant workers 'even you aren't welcome here and as soon as we can replace you, f-off back to where you came from!'

With each passing day you become more and more ashamed to call yourself British.

Hail.

If Trump wins maybe we can all move to Canada together.

Don't worry, he'll make up for it with some greater embarrassment.

Trump murdered Reagan, Farage murdered Thatcher.

If you kick out 30,000 foreign doctors I can't imagine that there will be a shortage of staff for the NHS. Especially when 1 million plus British elderly retirees in Spain and France are sent back.

And the saddest thing of all is that would suit the Nationalistic, xenophobic, bigoted, racist, far right ..... sorry, let's cut out the middle man ..... 2016 Britain and it's Political leadership, down to the ground.

Hail.

The Tories are going harder down the Little Englander path than anyone might have thought.

Now foreign experts are not welcome. Although to be fair during the campaign the refrain was an anti-intellectual one that any experts aren't to be trusted.

Enough Leave voters regret their decision, where Remain would likely win if voting was to occur again.

Quote

SINCE the Brexit referendum victory on June 23rd by 52% to 48%, the Leave side has told “Remoaners” to stop whingeing about the result: the win was slim but clear enough. Yet new evidence suggests that more than a few Leavers are having second thoughts about how they cast their ballots.

The British Election Study, a long-running panel survey, asked voters in July whether they regretted their choice. Only 1% of Remainers did; another 1% of them were unsure. Among Leavers, 6% wished they had not voted the way they did, and a further 4% were in two minds. That may not be much—and the authors point out that voters for the winning side feel some regret after most elections—but it suggests that the slim pro-Brexit majority had evaporated within a month of the referendum. Remorse was strongest among Leavers who didn’t expect their side to win, adding some weight to the idea that many were motivated by frustration with the establishment rather than by Euroscepticism.

Weaker pound means that their exports can compete with our products better. That being said, I'm not sure what they could actually export here that's worth buying.

Brain-drain of educated "undesirables" might try their luck here rather than move to Europe, where the alt-Right is growing in strength.

Anyone on here smart enough to predict how this will affect us on this side of the pond?

Not too badly I think. International trade involving the UK isn't a major component of our economy. From what I can tell, the Brexit vote didn't really change or factor into our unemployment rate predictions over the next two years either.

If there is any substantial impact on us, it will be from contagion in other countries; mostly EU nations and Asian countries who are going to take more of a direct hit from this incredibly stupid decision. I don't think economists have really figured out how the contagion will spread and ultimately impact us. In fact, I think we may see the decision go through and then see what happens.

The ghosts of the Roundheads are chuckling at Nigel Farage discovering the centuries-old supremacy of Parliament.

Don't know why Farage is so pissed.

One would o thought a British court serving British justice for the people of Britain would of been exactly what the arch British Nationalist would want right?

Well to be honest it is troubling and very reflective of how the EU operates and reflects how anti-democratic Europe is becoming. Was it not Parliament that gave the decision to the voters?  If the vote doesn't go the way those in power want it to go the solution is to just ignore it and carry on.
