If there really is a God....

... then Stephen Davis will fumble the game away or just not be a factor at all.

Every where I look, ESPN, the internet and even here on these boards, all I see is how stupid the Skins were for letting Davis go and How BAD he wants revenge. I know Davis is not publically saying this, but his teamates are.

Sportscenter had a feature this morning about how the Skins were going to pay for letting him go and how there's no way he would miss this game.

If the football gods have any heart what so ever, then Davis will not see his dream come true. He's having a great year, his team is bound for the playoffs, the football gods would just be evil to give him the satisfaction of having a huge day over the Skins who have struggled this year, most likey won't make the playoffs and have the entire media down on them.

This should be interesting.

I think it's so funny how people feel sorry for Davis and think the Skins just discarded one of their best players for no apparent reason.

The bottom line is the Redskins tried to get Davis to restructure his contract and he declined. Then he accepted less money in Carolina than he would have gotten had he restructured....poor Davis. How is that the Redskins' decision?!?

Good point, but Davis said on ESPN that if it was only about money he would still be a Redskin.

He sure didn't seem to be very excited about taking less money when he was here.

Funny we don't even get any credit for being one of only three teams even trying to sign him.

Surely the Great and Powerful Oz (Parcells) should get some criticism for not trying to sign him. Shouldn't he?

New England?

Tampa?

The fact that we are being portrayed in the media as the evil villain in the Davis fiasco pisses me right the hell off. The media can say all they want about us having no interest in keeping SD, but the bottom line is that this guy had no desire to stick around in DC either. With that being said, how am I supposed to wish good things for SD? I hope we knock him off his a$$ all day and beat them good.

Lets be honest there was never a chance that S Davis was gonna remain renegotiated contract or not.

And I still remember some of you haters pining for tiki barber and look at him now

S double and those on the jock of finesse football wanted a scat back like a Trung since we couldnt get a faulk type

I am rooting for S Davis though I still want the skins to win

ESPN shouldn't be making a good guy or bad guy out of anyone over this. Stephen Davis wanted to leave, because of the type of offense that Spurrier was running. Whether the decision to hire Spurrier was right or wrong, no one player is above the team and Snyder did what he thought would help his team win.

I would wish you guys luck agains the Panthers, but I'm a Cowboys fan.
