Guest Matt Kyriacou
Because you really have a candy-a$$ed team. Remembering the grace and humility that each one of you showed last season........I am wishing you the best of luck in the Copper Bowl........IF AT ALL. That having been said....enjoy this a$$-whuppin that is being put upon you.

Fitz
I'm sure Buddha has a salute for you, Matt Gotta love the fat man. I'd like to see his teams play a little better in the season openers, but I can live with the slow starts as long as he gets them to finish strong. He has exorcised the spectres of Duffner and Vanderlinden, who were like a double dose of Norv for the Terp fans.
Guest Matt Kyriacou
Fitzman You are so right about that. If the Terps could get off to a decent start each season rather than playing catch up....... I can't believe that this is the same team that I watched get beaten by Georgia Tech 7-3 a few weeks ago though. The future is bright with the Fridge at the helm. I read in the paper today that if they win the ones that they should it's a New Year's day appearance in the Gator Bowl. I'll take that any day after the years and years of mediocrity. Blondie
Excuse me! I am part of this forum and I have NEVER EVER had someone tell me to "eat sh!t". Makes you big and bad right? Especially since you are hidden behind the bravado of a computer. What a classless statement. Blondie

Southtown
I had the Terps -3.5 in the first half and -7 for the game...that being the case...let's go Terps! I don't catch much Maryland football but their running back tore it up last night.
Prosperity
Question, If Josh Allen runs for 257 yards against UVa, how many yards will Kevin Jones gain? Id say around 260 but with 5 TD's
Prosperity
These are the only teams UVa has beat this year: Duke Western Michigan Wake Forest(barely :rotflmao: ) UNC Troy St UVa will lose to GaTech and VaTech and will NOT be bowl eligible :rotflmao: pathetic
Tarhog
So many things I could say...but I'll try and show some restraint. I mean, you're right ....who'd want to go to one of the top public universities in the country?.....what a moron I was. As for football, don't worry, eventually UVa, Duke, and UNC will lower their admission standards to the same cro-magnon man level as the rest of the ACC and then things will really get competitive. Until then....enjoy.

Talent Wasted at a Desk
This was my 3rd away game this season. Others were Western Michigan and South Carolina. WMU fans didn't seem to care all that much. USC fans were pretty fun to be around. Maryland fans spared no nitrogen in making unsolicited comments on, let's see, my genitalia and my sexuality...neither of which were on display. Simply classless. As far as the game was concerned, Maryland played well and won. Good job.
Lowghost
I am a huge Maryland fan and have always respected Virginia, even hope they win when they play other schools, especially ACC ones. Its a great school with a fine tradition.
jbooma
If I recall a lot of UVA fans were piling it on last year when they beat the terps  By the way before the game Allen said he would get 200: So Scott McBrien, the Terrapins' quarterback, turned to Josh Allen, the tailback left standing. "Hey Josh," McBrien said. "How about 100 yards tonight?" Allen looked at his quarterback. "How about 200?" he shot back. Once MD can get some quality WR's to go along with their deep backfield this team will be complete. Fridge has done an incredible job with the talent he has. If NC State beats FSU and MD wins out they win the ACC Fear the Turtle

I respect all of the ACC schools, but I am not sorry for being able to rub it in a bit after all of the smack directed at the Terps last year. Specifically I recall shots being taken at the Terps secondary as being suspect. Last year there were an abundance of Wahoos all too willing to pour salt in the fresh Maryland wounds. To them I say.......:moon:
Skins24
 Either we have way to many UVA alum/fans here or I'm not sure everyone realized you were talking about Virginia Matt. Lighten up, Francine. Ok, maybe "Eat Sh**" was a bit much ( ), but come on now people.... Say it with me now: R I V A L R Y Talking smack is mandatory! No need to apologize Matt. After last year, there is NO reason at all for them to be b*tchin' and cryin'. I'm done. Good game btw
