Brave
I'm in. It's sad to think back on Om's manificent fictional season. How nice it would have been. Instead, we have the zombies moping aroundout there. Someone needs to light a fire!
RF4L
I dunno if I'm worthy. When you've picked the first two contests at a combined score of 50-33 Skins and a 2-0 record, but now you're looking up at 3-67 and 0-2, it's pretty hard to feel like "The Man". Right now I'm just shrugging my shoulders and shaking my head. I'm not feeling very scholarly right now. Maybe though, by the end of the week, I'll have some money in the Banks and will continue with the competition. Way to keep up the pressure though, Omster. Om
* (Bump) * Yeah, that fantasy season stuff sure looks pretty silly right about now. Not to mention the warm and fuzzy "camp report" about how much we were going to like this team. Nostradamus, apparently, I am not. Or maybe I am. Whatever. Fact is ... I ain't gonna let the lousy start to the season spoil my fun. I look forward to fall Saturdays and Sundays like a kid, still, and don't intend to stop now. This weekend we've got college ball out the yin yang, then our Skins on Sunday; not mention Miami vs. St. Louis, Baltimore vs. Denver, New Orleans vs. the Jints, etc. I'm there. Football weekends rule. And not even Geoff Jorge, Jimmy Raye, or the suddenly Jurassic Marty Schottenheimer are going to take that away. Hang in there, brothers. The pendulum always swings back. Om
* (Hump) * Man, those boys over at CPND sure do have us beat. I mean, they've got some 50+ dudes willing to lay it on the line with a prediction ... and all they're offering up is a lousy T-shirt.
