Riggo-toni
Great news, The Cowpies new Offensive Coordinator wants the team to convert to a West Coast offense. As I mentioned in an earlier post, it seems to me like almost every team that converts to a West Coast offense (ie Detroit, Jets, Skins in our first 6 game this year) seems to go right down the toilet. To me it's like one of those stupid fads that just won't go away. Look for Quincy and them Cowgirls to fall flat on their faces in 02! Yippee! bulldog
what's really ironic about those teams you mentioned was NONE of them went out and got quarterbacks who had the proficiency to run that particular style of offense.

The Cowboys have Leaf, Carter and now Hutchinson, all three big arm, deep throwers with questionable accuracy on the short and intermediate passes.

Maybe I missed something, but perhaps Jones should have waited to give Hutchinson $3.1 million in bonus until AFTER the Cowboys decided what kind of system they were going to use. NavyDave
You would have thought that the cowpokes would have learned from the failure that Marty had about using guys with cannons to run a short passing game when their strength is throwing down the field. RF4L
When I first read your post, I thought it meant the Cowboys franchise was going to move to the west coast. You just meant their style of O.

$hit.
PCS
Just another reason why I am looking forward to seeing what Dbl.S has in mind for the Redskins. His reputation as an innovater could be fun to watch. Sterling Sharp and ..T.J.? I think, took on the subject of the oh so common use of the w.c.o. in the NFL earlier in the season. can't quite remember what they said but in the end they picked on coaches for not showing any originality in designing offesnses, defenses able to shut them down more successfully,ect.... Reaganaut
No you're wrong, they're going to the OPTION offense. Wait... sorry that was LAST year.

Hmmm. I wonder why they never tried the Wishbone when Spitzer was there. They're just so darn confident dontchaknow.
