Ancalagon the Black
I'm trying to follow the Baltimore-St Louis game on NFL.com's GameCenter. It looks as though St Louis is up because of a few lucky breaks. Can anyone clue me in as to how the teams are looking? Although I dislike the Ravens (mostly because of their smirky coach), I'd like to see the Rams lose and fall out of the wild-card race, even with Faulk. Ghost of
Yeah the Ravens are not playing terribly at all, a couple of bad turnovers. And I am definitely rooting for them to win because I am more worried about playoffs than someone sticking it to Ray "Charles" Lewis and Brian "no lips" Billick. Ancalagon the Black
It says "T Heap injured on the play." What did Archuleta do to him?

Om
Caught him under the right arm, square in the ribs Ancalagon. Heap up the left sideline about 20 yards, Boller's pass makes him reach up, Archuleta times it and buries right shoulder pad into Heap's side just as ball arrives. Heap starts to crumple and fall back, but then gets popped in the back by another defender as he falls. Ouch.
Mickalino
Originally posted by jbooma beat him like a redheaded stepchild That hit was greatly exaggerated. Archuletta didnt even deliver the decisive hit. It was a double-hit. All he did was push him into the other defender for the ensuing hit which did all the damage. The other hit actually helped him not fall as fast to the ground.
Om
Disagree, Mick. Watch the film closely. Archuleta's hit sends Heap back and to the left. Back ... and to the left.
Ancalagon the Black
Ouch is right. But now the Ravens are leading.
DjTj
this is one ugly ugly game. Billick just needs to run the damn ball so the clock can start running.
Ghost of
Ravens just look like a better team. Sadly, I think a Ravens or Carolina system would have us at a winning record. BUt thems the breaks, I guess. I can say I never thought the Ravens would be battling for the playoffs.
OaktonSkins/BushFan
Theismann also made a comment stating that the officating this season has been "horrifc". He made that statement right after what was perhaps the single worst call I nave ever seen. Heap literally tackled by the CB just moments before the ball arrived. The line judge threw the flag and apparently the rest of the crew must have changed his mind or was overruled. Honestly, you would have to be mentally retarded or incredibly biased to not acknowledge it. Absolutely and completly shotty and pathetic incompetence displayed by these *****y zebras. Billick was on the verge of having a heart attack, especially after last week -

EvoSkins
This is what happens when you are are a one-dimensional team. When you are behind, you need to throw the ball. Boller went down with a sprained knee and Redman stinks up the field. Their pass blocking breaks down (much like ours have at times) and he get either picked off or sacked repeatedly. It is extremely hard to come back in a game with a good defense by running the ball. Jamal Lewis is a good RB, but it takes too much time and the defense will put 8 men in the box becasue they know you can't throw. Like the Redskins found out, a blend of the pass and run keeps defenses off-balance. One sets up the other.

DjTj
Redman wanted to show he could fumble too. 11 turnovers - anybody know what the record is? ...of course my fantasy opponent had to be starting the Rams defense this week...
