NoCalMike
So Carolina wins a game today that if they lose, would hurt, it would stay in their minds, and they would come out next week ANGRY. Instead they are excited and ready for next week. I would almsot believe Carolina is looking ahead of Washington, except that Stephen Davis won't allow that to happen..... BayouBrave86
Hell they lost to Tony Banks and the Texans, I would say we have a good shot.

Canadian Hog
Regardless of whether they are coming off a win or loss, Carolina is gonna be a tough team to beat. Simply because they are gonna run Stephen Davis all day, and our D line can't stop the run.

Brave
Historically, Carolina has been MUCH better when confident rather than when angry. However, I don't know that I'd put much weight into either being a big factor. Whoever plays best should win.
panel
Our only chance is if SD is not 100%. If he is, I am not comfident in any of our secondary's ability to tackle him, and D line won't do to much either.
BCS:BraveCaringSoul
Next weeks game at Carolina imho is the toughest game remaining on our schedule.
Oldskool
Id rather get them with Davis on the bench and Foster as RB. I dont think he's 100% back from microfracture surgery.
SonnyJ
If the Redskins play D with less than 8 in the box on most plays, it will be the equivalent of Rhodes not bringing the house against the Redskins today. You have to do all you can to not let their running dictate the game. Man up their receivers. Maybe Champ will actually make a play and look like a guy who actually deserves a big-money contract. I've seen very little evidence of that to date.
fish
I think it's more important that WE are confident!
NVskinsfan
It is my belief that I do not like to play teams after a loss the previous week. Teams stay madder longer until a victory. Glad they won, so they won't be so fighting mad that they make us pay for it. Going to be tough, but we can beat these guys, because I don't think we have ever lost to Carolina!!! spanishomelette
Carolina has proven they have maybe the strongest defense with a particular strength with their DL. The 'Skins will have all they can handle when trying to figure out protection schemes. It's been pointed countless times today that Seattle did not blitz much which helped a bit. But protection was better generally as the offense had problems last week even when there was no blitz. Perhaps there is some hope that the offense can continue what they did today. I don't want to hear that "we don't have all the answers" refrain again.
