Heavy Jumbo
I saw this on NFL.com and I was wondering what everybody here thought. These were some of there choices.
RP81
I'm a firm believer in the theory that great players, for the most part, don't make great coaches. With that in mind, my vote would have to go to Rob Johnson
Storm
Russ Grimm.

Jimmythehair
I agree, Russ has shown he can coach. As for the ones in the poll, it is impossible to say. Unless you see them coach you will never know.
codeorama
I have to vote Dan Marino, only because I'm a Marino fanboy. I honestly don't think he'd make a good coach, but I had to show support for my man...
Skins26
I would like to see Chris Collinsworth try and coach. He certainly had enough tips for Spurrier. Come on CHRIS lets see what ya got, you ****ING FAGET
Leonard Washington
bad/average players make good coaches.

Tom [Giants fan]
I'd like to throw Harry Carson's name in there. He is a smart, football savvy guy. I think he'd make a great coach.
SlinginSammy HOF '63
Someone mentioned Doug Williams yesterday. He'd make a good motivator, but I'd say as long as Eddie Robinson is still alive he'll never leave Grambling.
Pete
Soon as I saw this thread, I also thought of Russ. Doug Williams is another that comes to mind. In not such a long time he went from Hi school coach to a coach in the NFL E, to head coach of Grambling. Not to bad IMO. Will an NFL team ever look his way...........time will tell. Sorry Sammy......you were a little quicker to the gun:laugh:

a_good_brotha
I like Deion Sanders as head coach. He could bring M.C. Hammer back to the sidelines like Atlanta did back in the day when they were "2 Legit 2 Quit." :rotflmao: Just kidding.
SkinsNumberOne
Anyone think Art Monk would make a good receivers coach?
Guest SkinsHokie Fan
I am going with Steve Young. He was one of the smartest guys to play, and is just a real good person. I think he would be able to implement a west coast system, break down defenses and keep his team motivated. Hell the guy went to law school
BG
Dude come on..... Darell green would make a sick coach. The motivation, there is no questioning that Cahmp's slump year is because DG is not here anymore. The guy brings a spark. He makes guys play better. Did it for years. He's a spiritual man too, which in this day and age is a good thing as far as the media nad players are concerned.

The Sisko
I was thinking in terms of head coaching and I picked Singletary. He was known as an intense competitor and a serious student of the game. I'd bet Jauron gets fired after this season and Singletary replaces him, so we'll probably get a chance to see how this one turns out. Jaws would have been my second choice but I'd see him more as an X's & O's type guy.
