Soon as I saw this thread, I also thought of Russ. Doug Williams is another that comes to mind. In not such a long time he went from Hi school coach to a coach in the NFL E, to head coach of Grambling. Not to bad IMO. Will an NFL team ever look his way...........time will tell.

 Sorry Sammy......you were a little quicker to the gun:laugh:

I am going with Steve Young. He was one of the smartest guys to play, and is just a real good person. I think he would be able to implement a west coast system, break down defenses and keep his team motivated. Hell the guy went to law school

Dude come on.....

Darell green would make a sick coach. The motivation, there is no questioning that Cahmp's slump year is because DG is not here anymore. The guy brings a spark. He makes guys play better. Did it for years. He's a spiritual man too, which in this day and age is a good thing as far as the media nad players are concerned.

I was thinking in terms of head coaching and I picked Singletary. He was known as an intense competitor and a serious student of the game. I'd bet Jauron gets fired after this season and Singletary replaces him, so we'll probably get a chance to see how this one turns out.

Jaws would have been my second choice but I'd see him more as an X's & O's type guy.
