Haszard County: The official '15 OTA's/Camp Twitter thread, Duke & the Schreff, Boss Hog!

I hope this Nacho guy is as good at football as he is at instagram.

No kidding. I unfollowed him on Twitter simply because he was blowing up my Twitter feed with 37 tweets a day. None of them related to Redskin football. The nonsense of his that Hap shares with us is only the select good stuff.

RG3 gets blasted for a 'Catch your Dream" slogan, yet Nacho goes unnoticed for a 17 tweet rant about dress code in a club.

The Redskins say 58 million people read stories about a Jon Gruden clinic http://m.richmond.com/sports/article_a31a808d-7b6c-5fca-91b8-3a2fcf648ea4.html?mode=jqm

 I thought the same thing, but I think we've already gone through similar "what ifs" and the only one that's worked is Paul, though the team did it with Young and Alexander successfully. So, I guess anything is possible, but I think TE takes a high amount of athleticism and coordination, and I think Moses' lack there (not to say he's not at all athletic) is holding him back at RT right now.

I admit to thinking "what if" after posting that. IF Moses can catch the ball, I could see him reporting as eligible on 5-6 plays a game. His height should be a huge advantage, while he should be a menacing figure to tackle as he lumbers down the field. His blocking should be a significant upgrade over Paulson, while probably equally inept at running after the catch. :P

I know this is just playful off-season talk, but probably as equally entertaining as the "Should we trade for ....?" threads.

For 6 months, we've been writing, "...when training camp opens in late July." Well, it's late July. First practice in Richmond is Thursday.

Looking ahead, the extended forecast (per http://weather.com ) for Richmond is 90+ temps this week, but minimal risk for pm storms ...

Tarik El-Bashir @TarikCSN 33s34 seconds ago

...which, of course, is a concern given that the #Redskins practices begin at 3.

6) Peyton Manning(Broncos): Manning is not the same QB he once was, but he's still a top 5 player at his position.

..yet he's ranked #6??

It's true. I've watched maybe 2 Nascar races in my life (on tv) and I haven't watched an NBA game in at least 5 years, but I do check to see how Earnhardt and Durrant are doing and hope they succeed, solely based on our mutual love of the Skins.

Also, I'm reading a Jerry Brewer article at the WP (which I haven't checked out for a long long time), and he's pretty good. He's not over-the-top positive, but he isn't blindly negative either. He says Griffin may not be our guy, but that McCloughan isn't really concerned about whether he is or isn't because of the way he builds his teams:

"His words have been taken more as a cop-out than a team-building strategy, but when he talks about wanting to give Griffin more time and focuses on improving the talent around the quarterback and relieving some of the burden, he isn’t dodging the issue. In San Francisco and Seattle, this approach worked."

Basically, he just says the team isn't going to implode if Griffin doesn't work out this year or next. They'll be fine because they're not focused on building around the QB, just focused on building a successful team.

It's almost like having a real journalist cover the Skins. I'm encouraged by what the Skins are doing, but not necessarily for this season.

I think Wilson is a crazy person if he thinks ANYONE is going to pay him what Aaron Rodgers makes.

Me too, but, like I said, he needs to get the most he can. To me, this is akin to "Twilight" being such an enormous hit when it's terrible. It's like an extension of the Anakin and Padme relationship that Lucas tried to push on everyone. Nausea and vomitting were more fun. Wilson landed in the perfect system for him with the perfect team built around him and he didn't **** it up. That's about it, IMO. So, quick, get as much money as you can before everyone realizes Seattle's success isn't because of you.

Only thing I really know about him is that he's in competition with Johnson & also makes his cleats look like Toms or Chucks by using athletic tape LOL.
