I've heard of women doing stuff like this. Man, people are just wacknuts

And not a soul would believe you were innocent unless you had it on video.  It just sounds too crazy to think someone would smash their own head into something.  It’s hard to believe the lengths crazy people will go.

Right, especially if there was already a history of violence/threats.

I hope to never be in a relationship with someone that off the rails

We talk about police accountability all the time, but DAs too often get a pass.  They wield tremendous power, especially over the vast majority of America that can not afford a defense team.  Yet we almost never hear about any of them being held responsible for wrongful convictions where evidence was hidden or ignored.  Not when witnesses were intimidated, coaches, or u ethically incentivized.  They just banish people to prison, destroying their lives, and when the truth is revealed face no consequences.

^^This. Exactly this. I’ve said it before, but in cases where someone does time and the prosecutor withheld exculpatory evidence, they need to do the same amount of time as the person they sent away...in gen pop.

Well there goes a waste of a whole recruitment campaign for prison guards in Virginia.

No, no. See, are they sure this is what happened? They were led to believe they had to comply with this policy. It’s not the CO’s fault if they’re not smart enough to know their rights so it’s actually their own fault. In fact, as the adult accompanying the minor child, I think the inmate’s girlfriend, should have been arrested for child molestation and human trafficking.

I just thought I’d do nonnie a solid and save him/her the time and effort to respond to this one.😀

Honolulu Police Officer Admits to Forcing Homeless Man to Lick Urinal to Avoid Arrest

A police officer in Honolulu pleaded guilty on Monday to forcing a homeless man to lick a public urinal to avoid arrest, according to Hawaii News Now.

The officer, John Rabago, later argued that he had been joking, but another officer who had been with him at the time said that Rabago had been aggressive and serious and that the man had knelt down and licked the urinal, taking the threat seriously.

Charges of child pornography, rape, sexually abusing an animal and "mingling harmful substances" have been issued against a top cop and his wife.

Former sheriff’s deputy Dennis Perkins, 44, and his wife Cynthia Perkins, 34, are jointly accused of some 150 separate felonies.

Among them are charges of child abuse images, first-degree rape, attempted first-degree rape, sexual battery of a child under the age of 13, video voyeurism and one count of sexual abuse of a dog.

The indictment also includes 61 counts of producing child pornography. Court papers say the couple were suspected of serving cupcakes and drinks contaminated with semen.

Local news station WAFB reports that the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office says the case is still ongoing and that the office is dealing with “a mountain of evidence”.

Normal police officer accused of stealing $12K pleads not guilty to charges

The Normal police officer accused of stealing $12,000 from a victim of a drug overdose has pleaded not guilty to all charges Friday.

Brian Williams is charged with two theft charges and two charges of official misconduct, all felonies. The 18-year veteran of the department was placed on administrative leave following the arrest.

Williams was one of the responding officers on November 25 for checking the well being of a person who potentially overdosed.

The person did die of the overdose, but a family member contacted police to report the missing $12,000 when the officers left the residence.

Shortly after the incident, the relative received anonymous calls, to "quit speaking with police in order to have the money returned."

While she was with Illinois State Police officers, the relative received another call from an unidentified number, asking if she wanted the money back. She then suggested they meet at a gas station in Pontiac for the exchange.

Illinois State Police followed and recorded the woman during the incident at Pontiac.

Court documents reveal undercover officers said they noticed an individual driving around the gas station, parking, entering and exiting his vehicle in a suspicious manner.

He eventually parked near a phone booth, got out of his car and placed a bag inside. Soon after, the relative got a call that the suspect left the money and was watching.

Normal Police say the bag contained the missing twelve grand and they approached the suspect who identified himself as a Normal Police Officer.

This should close the coffin lid on the argument that it’s just a few bad apples. It clearly says that normal police are doing this. Wokka wokka wokka!😃

Davie police officer trying to shoot dog accidentally shoots self

A Davie police officer accidentally shot himself Friday morning, police said.

The officer was attempting to shoot a dog that charged at him during a non-criminal incident at a home on Southwest 116th Way, Davie police Lt. Mark Leone said.

“When the police officer got to the front door of the residence, the family pet -- happens to be a female boxer named Bella -- ran right past him and went toward the officer," Leone said. "The officer was in fear, drew his firearm and fired one shot.”

Leone said the officer’s hand got in the way of the gun’s muzzle.

Home surveillance video shows what appears to be the officer walking back and forth from the home.

Moments later, more police cars arrive -- lights flashing -- and officers run toward the home.

A short time goes by when two officers are seen walking on the sidewalk, one of them grasping his hand.

He gets to the back of a patrol car and appears to start wrapping something around the wound to stop the bleeding, seemingly frustrated.

The officer was expected to be OK, as is the dog that was grazed by the bullet, Leone said.

Alabama woman, 19, shot as authorities open fire, raid home in search of man who was already in jail

An Alabama woman was shot last week by authorities who entered her home in search of a man — who had already been booked at the local jail the day prior — and officials are chalking the situation up to a "miscommunication."

Ann Rylee, 19, was at home in Wilmer on Thursday morning when Mobile County sheriff's deputies and federal officers from Homeland Security and the U.S. Marshals Office descended upon her property, looking for Nicholas McLeod, a 41-year-old man who is the uncle of Rylee's fiancé.

Investigators approached the house and detained two men outside, who told them there was a woman — Rylee — in the house, according to Mobile County Sheriff Sam Cochran, who told WALA-TV "this lady had armed herself with a shotgun and the entry team was giving her orders to drop the gun, put the gun down, drop the gun several times over a period of a few seconds it seems like."

"She didn't and she pointed the gun at one of them — then two or three agents fired upon her, striking her three or four times," Cochran said.

Nicholas McLeod, the man authorities were looking for, was arrested on Wednesday — a day before the shooting — and booked at the Mobile Jail on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and evidence tampering.

It wasn't immediately clear how authorities didn't realize Nicholas McLeod was already locked up, but the sheriff called the situation a "miscommunication."

Sisko in your opinion how many of these are making the Zieg Heil salute?  I see 2 that look like Nazi salutes, several that look like Roman salutes (closed fists - which would fit the hail theme?) a bunch that look like waves, one guy using his left hand  to wave.  Saw the story and if it is only this photo that they have to claim they were making a Nazi salute then it looks like an over-reaction, burn them at the stake sort of situation.

So how many are they talking about because  a lot those in the photo didn't.

Almost all of them I'm guessing. 37 people total canned. Not going to count but only 1 looks like they aren't throwing up a Nazi salute.

The secretary stated that Byrd directed her to caption the picture "Hail Byrd," according to the report, and told the secretary the students say that “because I’m a hard-ass like Hitler.”

37? - That is more than in the photo (people training them I imagine).  However certainly more than one isn't making a Nazi salute (anyone with a fist for example).   But that statement by Byrd you posted is pretty damning and probably what sank them all.
