Brown 43
What did you guy's think? I thought he played really well for being out that long! He could be a force in the middle!
@DCGoldPants
look, if he keeps his head on straight and doesn't pull a Gardener in the offsesaon...then he's worth keeping. It gives you more options in FA and the draft.

Storm
Im surprised he hasnt given the money back and tried to get as far away from this team as possible.
Novato
He needs 2 - 3 more games to start showing more things then, yesterday he had that nice prenetration but missed Hambrick and then he caused a fumble (or I think he did), but he had nothing as far as collapsing the pocket. BD
I thought he looked surprisingly good for a guy who's been out for so long. In two weeks, he could be Gardener like.
NoCalMike
No way Russell could have been expected to be game-time ready in that short amount of time, considering that, he played pretty damn good.
Trevor
He was far and away our best defensive lineman yesterday. Pretty sad.

Blondie
He was so pumped on the sideline. Didn't sit down...on the edge.....watching........yelling encouragement. I was impressed. Blondie
PCS
He showed some flashes yesterday of just how good he was and could be, ( and I didn't even use tivo to see that ). Definatley will be good to have him around over the last stretch of the season. Good to hear he was amped on the sidelines.
SkinsNorth
Talent wise he has got it, the guy was considered a top 5 DT at one time. So long as he keeps his nose clean, he has a chance to perform at a top level again as he is still a young guy. I am unsure of our chances resigning him though. CaliforniaSkin
I thought he played quite well given how limited his preperation time was. I would hope that if he continues to play well we'd have the inside track on resigning him for next year given that we were the team to give him the 'second chance.' NoCalMike
that is one hell of an emotional way to break in a Skins uniform......on the road @ Dallas. I can't wait to see him play on the line against Dallas at home. He should be hyped. My only hope is that the game will mean more then simply beating the cowboys. GSF
Russell is going to be a huge pick up for this team. It looks like he did stay in shape like he said. He was the only guy to even get a sniff of the backfield. Within a few weeks, this defense is going to be greatly improved because of his presence. I really think this guy could be the catalyst to turn this team around. If the D tightens up and starts shutting people down, that takes a ton of pressure off Ramsey and the offense. This all is assumming of course that Spurrier figures out a way to pull his head out of his arse.
Prosperity
If we can sign Grady Jackson too we will have a decent D line
Symbol
I think that we should sign him to a long term deal now with an option out of his contract if he gets into any trouble again.

It would be risky, but potentially he could be exactly what the DL needs. I would be for the move, how much worst can the DL look??
