Canadian Hog
After another disappointing performance, I would personally like to take this time to thank Patrick Ramsey. This guy is a warrior. The courage he has is second to none. I personally feel sorry for him, and its unfortunate that a guy of his character has to deal with the bullsh!t surrounding this team. Gets planted into the turf every time he drops back to throw, but he comes back for more and NEVER complains or shows his frustrations towards the coaching staff. Patrick deserves better. As we quickly see our team become the joke/laughingstock among those associated with the NFL, we should at least count our lucky stars that we have Patrick on our side. We love you Patrick, thanks for giving us your heart and soul.
Skeletor The Invincible
Because some of the time when he gets hit it's his own fault. Yes, he's tough, but he really needs to learn to get rid of the ball quicker.
NoCalMike
Skeletor, he is a "rookie" He is playing like a young gunslinger, trying to make things happen on every play. Also, with the playcalling Spurrier is almost setting up Ramsey for failure by resting it all in his hand from almost the opening snap. Spurrier is doing absolutely nothing through playcalling to take pressure off of Ramsey, NOTHING.
Tarhog
I think the vast majority of us agree with you CH. But he is pressing on almost every play. And unselfish courage when you are trying to save your team from ruin might well be a liability. That really concerns me, along with the beating he's taking of course. Patrick can't turn water into wine. He's got a long way to go, but we've GOT to get him some help. I don't think he's 'learning' a damn thing right now. Its a fallacy. You don't learn anything in a season like this, except that it really sucks to have your ribcage caved by a 250 lb lineman every other play. I think you could clearly see today that Patrick was not able to focus on his reads for looking for that next horrible blow to his body. I saw numerous plays where he visibly looked away from his recievers because pressure was bearing down on him. I love the guy, what's not to love. But I'm not sure it wouldn't be a good idea to let him sit for a few games at this point, heal up, study a bit. We could do a lot of damage to him, as much mentally as physically, if we keep subjecting him to the kind of beating he took again today.

Patrick deserves better. I thought he was pretty pissed after several series where he got planted. He was jawing at Spurrier and looked pretty mad about the poor protection he was getting. But you're right, he never complains to the press, he is a class act.
BayouBrave86
Someone forgot to tell Samuels and Jansen Ramsey is a Qb, not a Rb.

matty dread
If I was Ramsey I'd start chewing out some of my lineman. They haven't done their jobs all season. At the least they could offer him a hand up when he gets dumped.

Jansen loves to run his big f'in mouth all of the time and pay lip service to Ramsey. Where was Jansen whe Ramsey went down? Better question is where was Jansen as Ramsey went down? Poor Jansen, Samuels and Moore - can't even handle a "college system".

Canadian Hog
not only is Samuels having trouble blocking this year, but he apparently hasn't figured out how to tuck the shoulder pad of his teammates under their jerseys when it comes out. I thought he was having a difficult time tucking Sultan's shoulderpad under the jersey, and quite honestly, it was the only time I laughed or smiled during the whole game.
