Cowboy Fan... Not a Basher...

MAN... I hate seeing the Redskins look that poor... is it that bad in DC?

This rivalry is no fun without us both being good teams... I expected more from both teams today... I hope Ramsey has his health insurance paid up...

I have read this board in regularity for the past three years because I think it is the best board of any NFL team... now I realize I will get a few of the "Cowboys Suck" "Eff You" types... but what the heck is going on out there?

You guys had 2 weeks to prepare... is this team in that much dissaray? I am not trying to bash... I was just surprised at the lack of effort...

All I ask is honest assessment... I hate to see any NFC East team look like that today (except the iggles)...

You guys are the insiders... help me out here...

It really is all on ramsey. At least this game was all on ramsey. He has a lot on his shoulders.

The team is not good enough to carry a young QB to greatness. We're just not there yet, and ramsey isn't ready to take a good but not great team anywhere.

Ramsey is playing scared. HE won't take the risks because he's ina lot of pain. I don't blame him, and I don't want to bech him. But to read too much into this as far as spurrier is concerned would be a big mistake.

The D played well. When ramsey came out of his shell the offense did okay. But we can't go very far with a second year QB at the helm. Just ask detroit an the texans.

Hey trickblue,

Give my thanks to the Cowboys for trying their best to give us the win in Dallas. Unfortunately, playing like one of the worst teams in professional football right now prevents us from being able to accept their gift.

The problem, as I see it, is mass confusion and lack of pride throughout the organization. While there are a few stand-outs, the majority in this organization are either unmotivated, or just plain do not know what the hell they are doing.

Don’t get me wrong, I still hate the Cowboys; but they could have probably beaten us today playing their second string unit – hell, the first string only brought their “B” game…

:puke:

I saw that today... he has a LOT of potential... I hated seeing him run for his life... he looked like a deer in the headlights today... and with good reason...

Smoot looked a bit tentative today... and I certainly understand... having had a sternum injury when I played... I know how painful it can be... it hurts to breathe deep, much less hit someone...

Hang in there guys... maybe this circus will end soon for ya'll... I am a Cowboy fan to the max... but the Redskin fans don't deserve this kind of effort... you are among the most loyal fans in the NFL...

From watching Ramsey on the bench after his injury, I can tell you that he had a pinched nerve in his left arm that made his left arm and left hand weak. Not to mention, it can be a very scary and painful thing when you can not move your arm and hand the way you normally do.

The fact that PR went back in and was able to still complete passes and take hits is a testament to his toughness and never-die attitude. I just hope that he can learn to get rid of the ball faster, and learn to get his guys into better position to protect him.

Its pretty sad when a guy we signed 11 days ago, Hasselback, comes in and looks a lot more confortable and confident than Ramsey.

I stated during preseason that Ramsey did not look even as comfortable as he did last year.... not sure what's up with that -

But in fairness to Ramsey... we had pulled the blitz package on Hasselback... and it was late... Ramsey can be a star in the right situation...

congrat to you as a cowboy fan for your win but you know

that any good team would have wiped you out today.

We are stuck in the same venue you have been in for

some time before getting Parcells. In fact the status of

our team with a big ego owner and out of his element

coach is exactly what has had you down for so long.

Until our owner sucks in his ego and is able to attrack

someone like Tuna, we will continue to take over and

hold the laughing stock label from you. Thats the

long and short of it. Thanks for being civil!!

Exactly... any good team would have wiped us out today... we were BOTH dreadful...

As bad as our owner can be at times... his track record is a little better than Snyder's... as bad as Jones is perceived... Johnson sed he NEVER interfered coaching-wise... that may be the only difference...

I hope you guys can get it together... we are still not there yet either... but this rivalry is MUCH better with two strong teams...

If Pat was playing scared, how could he stand in there to deliver his second touchdown in the face of that blow that was only nano-seconds away?

I'm not going to lay anything at the door of a second year player who seems to be the only player willing to leave something of himself on the field.

This is Spurrier's sh!theap. Not Ramseys!

Ramsey's being eaten alive before our very eyes and Spurrier seems unable or unwilling to stop it.

Spurrier apparantly doesn't seem able to teach or coach fundamentals and has lost the confidence of his team.

The Redskins are in a tail-spin and it only took 8 games!

The front office are all on crack, Spurriers toast and I'm everso p!ssed!!!!!:silly:

Um... did you see who the Cowboys had on the offensive line? That WAS their second team.

I honestly can't understand for the life of me how 4 defensive lineman can play 70+ plays... and as a unit cannot put any pressure on the QB for more than 1-2 plays a game.

I mean the odds... look at the odds!!!

Gave props to PR on that last TD drive... but he was rushing throws earlier with good reason... he was getting killed..

There is no real safety valve in the fun n gun... once he saw no one open he was basically screwed... SS needs to build in a "come-back" regimen for the receivers in the pros...
