RichmondRedskin88
Griffin struggling to return to his 2012 firm, Colt struggling now, and Kirk gets his colors confused. So do we hope for Mariotta to somehow fall to us or do we roll with one of our QBs until we figure it out? (Note: we still need a O line.)
MattFancy
No, we don't draft a QB. Roll these 3 back out again next year with an open compeition in TC and the preseason. QB is a problem, but it's far from the only or major problem with this team. OL, DL, LB, CB, and S are all far more pressing needs than QB. greenspandan
what a waste of 12 months. Â i feel like all we've learned is that out of three QBs with 3 different skill sets, none of them can make Gruden's offense work.

StephenDavis
I don't trust system QB's like Mariotta anymore. The only way I would go QB in this year's draft is if there was a great prototypical NFL ready 6'5" QB to be had. Don't think Winston is the answer either.

Cooleyfan1993
RG3. We just need to draft offensive linemen. with a much better offensive line, the QB will be much better. just my opinion. although seems like my opinion gets shot down a lot so...**** it. DMVLeGenD
We take a QB this yr, and we'll ruin him just like we ruined all our others QBs.
redskins59
You need to start Kirk Cousins. Look, Colt is noodle arm and cannot make all the throws. If you look at Kirk's stats, he was probably throwing for 300 yards a game and averaging more than 8 yards per attempt. He was also on pace for 30 Td's. Yes he was on pace for 30 ints, but clearly without that issue he had elite numbers. Even against the Giants, the first half was very good. He had above 100 qb rating. Burgold
Agree w Cooley. We will never find success behind this line. No QB could. Not Montana, Elway, Manning, none. Address the lines I. A serious fashion and we will discover the skins have very good WR RBs and a good QB

redskins59
Colt and RG3 hold on to the ball too long. Look at the release time. Kirk's was the lowest and he was on pace for only 20 sacks.

Behind this offensive line, you get sacked within 5 seconds. A QB needs more time than that to make a pass. Kirk is probably jut scared of getting sacked which is why he throws that football RIGHT AWAY.

redskins59
i prefer sacks to interceptions. (this is what Redskins fans are reduced to debating in 2014 ....) Even if you prefer sacks to interceptions, RG3 and Colt aren't better than Kirk in that regard if you look at Td and int. Heck RG3 has more ints than Td's. Behind this offensive line, you get sacked within 5 seconds. A QB needs more time than that to make a pass. Kirk is probably jut scared of getting sacked which is why he throws that football RIGHT AWAY. I hope you were being sarcastic. No offensive line gives you 5 seconds. Peyton Manning throws the ball in ~2.3 seconds. Kirk's average is around the same. He has the right idea tbh.

Rskins06
Would love for the Rams to cut Bradford and for him to miraculously be forever healthy. Interesting. I was thinking about that this morning, not sure if he can stay healthy though. Colt and RG3 hold on to the ball too long. Look at the release time. Kirk's was the lowest and he was on pace for only 20 sacks. Do you think Kirk can be "coached up" and reduce the INTs? I would not be opposed to this, only because when Kirk is on, he plays great. Problem is when it gets bad, the kid implodes. DogofWar1
The QB of our future probably isn't on the roster. Â Or in the NFL (Bradford is interesting; if he's cheap, what do we have to lose). Â Or in the 2015 draft class. Â He might be in college, but then again, he might not be there yet. Â Heck, he might not even be born yet. Â He wasn't born yet in 1991, it's possible he's still not alive. Â Â Â And this is from the perspective of us having fixed the darn OL. Â With the OL we have today, our franchise QB exists nowhere in 4 dimensional space.
redskins59
Well then, care to explain why Kirk was getting sacked far less often? Advantages that Kirk has over others: 1. Throws the ball quickly. Therefore less sacks. 2. On pace for 30 Td's. 3. Offense more productive. 40+ against Jacksonville and 30+ against Philadelphia. 4. Probably threw close to 300 in every single game. 5. Offense entertaining to watch. Receivers, especially Desean very happy.
War Paint
Jay Cutler? I'd actually be cool with that. It's probably an unpopular opinion though.
Stadium-Armory
There is evidence to support the idea that QBs throw lots of interceptions in their first year or so in the league. I wonder if it makes sense to give Kirk another shot. Gruden seems to hate him though.. Â
