bubba9497
The Curse of ASF continues  but hey, who said Spurrier didn't have passion? Well this answers who the Asst coach was that got into a heated debate with Spurrier reported in the post the other day.
BayouBrave86
That really bothers me. I thought our team was rolling along in the bye week, and this had to come up? Im sorry but Im pissed at Snyder for keeping Kim Helton around. Spurrier has to be getting pissed at Snyder now, cutting Weurfell, bringing in Russell, and now this? Ugh, this better not bite us in the ass today.
Art
Not sure this sounds or reads like Snyder cancelled out Spurrier's wishes here. Sounds more like after it happened Snyder got with Spurrier and said, "Guy, Bugel isn't coming in. Who do we have that can do that job now. Just be yourself and step in more with that group if you're concerned." Snap decisions made like this are rarely beneficial. My guess is Spurrier actually had second thoughts in part because Snyder was the calm one.

Just what I was thinking Bubba....Spurrier is HOT....at least he's not a Norv clone like I was starting to believe.
codeorama
I've never doubted that Spurrier blows his gaskets behind the scenes. He just has better sense than to do it publically.
Tarhog
I know the majority here feel like all of the 'chaos', 'media frenzy', and 'team unrest' has been a big negative and evidence this franchise is in deep deep trouble. But I think it may turn out to be a positive. I LIKE the fact that Spurrier's fired up, pissed off, and looking for some @sses to kick (coaches and players alike). At least he and the players are feeling the heat, something Norv and Company never seemed to feel. I expect to see some fire from this team today. If I were Spurrier, I'd be using the 'its US against the world' motivation technique. Call out every single player and coach and dare them not to respond. bubba9497
We don't know what was said, and how it played out. Maybe this released a lot of fustration, and both will come out better because it. Joey T said the Skins got better after he and Gibb had it out.

PCS
Sigh. Not sure exactly why this was needed to prove that S.S. had a pair, we knew he did coming in. Just some forgot. apparently. This more than likely happend pretty much the way Art described. Snyder has had experience in that whole changing coaches in the middle of the season thing. Something which many have used to hammer him with. Now, he becomes the moderator, keeps that very thing from happening, and he's abused again. Let everybody cool down, then rethink things. Funny how Mort may have left that part out. Know this. Anybody want to take a bet right here right now, ( I admit it's hard to prove either way), that this type of heated exchange goes on every week on every team? Anywhere? Cooler heads prevailed in this case. That's a good thing.
BCS:BraveCaringSoul
If this happened Saturday it would at least partially explain the need for the 6 hour meeting between Spurrier and Snyder.
