1975 Billy Kilmer, who passed for 301 yards yesterday, leaped six inches over right guard Walt Sweeney into the end zone to propel the Washington Redskins to a dramatic 30-24 sudden-death overtime victory over the Dallas Cowboys at RFK Stadium.

2003 For only the second time on this day in their storied history, the Washington Redskins clashed with the Dallas Cowboys in an epic battle reminiscent of the glory days from one of the NFL's great rivalries. Although the players, coaches, and location were different this time, the end result was much the same. Patrick Ramsey threw for two TD's and ran one in late in the 4th quarter to seal the win. The owner, coaches, players, sportswriters, and fans would all later credit this game for turning the Redskins season around, propelling them into the playoffs where they went on to..........................(link to come later) :D
