TD_washingtonredskins
The organization's code of conduct has to start at the top and need to be enforced all the way down the chain to the players. When you have the leaders of the organization itself going to battle against the media, the players will follow suit. What would ideally happen is that the owner/GM would express to the team what is expected, make sure the coaches have the authority to help enforce those expectations, and make sure that the team leaders are on board. I think the mentality of this franchise is sick and rotten. Sadly I honestly believe we need a full rebirth, but that would have to start with an epiphany at the highest level and I've lost faith that we will be that lucky. MartinC
Maybe it was more on his 2nd stint, but during his first one, he had the respect of his players, and he expected his players to act civil, and they did. After waxing the Falcons, there was an interview with a Redskin player after the game, can't remember who it was, maybe Jumpy Geathers, but he was being interviewed, and he said something to the effect of 'see how they disrespecting us? This is a class A organization here, we don't need all of that crap going on here like they do'. Get back to me when a current Redskins player passes out drunk in a team meeting and pees all over himself. That happened here during Gibbs first stint. You know all this evil didn't start until Snyder got here and these things can only happen in a Snyder locker room. Get with the program. BRAVEONTHEWARPATH93
Keep in mind that this crap is coming from the media, especially the (Com)Post. The (Com)Post will lie and overstate things because of their agenda. Just another cheap swipe at Snyder and the Redskins. Gruden and RG3 have already shot all this nonsense down about disrespect in the locker room and the owner picking the QBs. Look at the article. The (Com)Post acts like it's their locker room and the Redskins are the unruly guests. Who the hell do these assholes think they are? LOL Go back and look at my posts before the game. I predicted that if the Redskins lost to the Vikings, all this negative stuff being put out by the likes of BSPN and the (Com)Post and was being dismissed would suddenly become gospel by the irrational mob. And here it is. The team lost so now the ones throwing the loudest temper tantrums are spreading all this nonsense that was being rejected before the game as it is now the truth. I'm unhappy the team lost, too. However, I am not going to be irrational about it to the point of believing much of anything the worthless rag known as the (Com)Post has to say. Don't help them spread their agenda against the team. The.Washington.Post.was.not.the.only.publication.to.report.this.
SkinsGuy
What are the "facts"? Simple question, are there any issues internally with our franchise? The fact is, I have no idea what is going in the locker room. Maybe they are problems. However, I won't buy it from the worthless likes of the (Com)Post or BSPN. Both places have shown their bias and agendas in the past. Especially BSPN this past Sunday. The overwhelming majority here weren't buying this crap before the game. Now that the team lost, they are swallowing it. Sad.

No Excuses
This team has way too many leaks and too much buffoonery at every level. Honest question, is this the most unprofessionaly run organization in all sports? I have never seen as many bizarre things as this team goes through with anyone else and in any other sport. MartinC
So now we are at "there might be problems but they only matter because we suck, again. But the Post sucks too" Progress I think most of us understand there are big problems within the Redskins as an organisation and that those problems start at the top and work downwards. Different time, different era. The media of today is nothing like it was during Gibbs 1st tenure. To compare the two is illogical. I said exactly that in my first post on this subject. We were winning though so no-one really cared, it was not destructive because there was a winning culture around the organisation (whatever happened during the week EVERYONE came to play Sunday) and there was a much different level of media scrutiny and no real interest or coverage of the non football related stories unless it was WAY over the line. Getting into pissing matches with them is not in any way productive.

Then why are you still here? If you are THAT miserable, why do you hang around, if you despise what a "Circus" the team has become? If Snyder is the root of all evil here, then you might as well pack your bags and split because that root is strong and deep, and will be here for several more decades. DC9
I have a quick solution.... Immediately rebuild the team with your own guys. I'm talking - identify the building blocks you have (we have about 10-15) and waive everyone else. Invest heavily in the draft and UDFA and start from scratch. I'm very disappointed in Ryan Clark. I thought he'd solve a lot of these issues with leadership by coming back but it seems he's being identified as the "know it all" ring leader. I know it's not just him, too... but I'm disappointed in him nonetheless. Blow it up next year and we're in the money by 2016 going forward. At this point that's the only way I renew my Season Tickets.

MattFancy
The media certainly doesn't help things around the team. But, the team just makes it easy for the media to do these things. It's like the pot calling the kettle black, from both angles here. I don't believe the team has done anything to disuade the media from portraying them like this and at least to me, the media hasn't shown anything that makes me believe everything that report about this team. So we're just kinda stuck in this pattern until the team wises up. Until then, the media around here will just run with anything they can find. To use your accusation, "only a fool" would think this ship is anything but sinking. But, for many of us, the loyalty to our team doesn't allow us to bail just because we acknowledge that the organization is bad or misguided. I still associate this team with my youth and have 30+ years invested in the Redskins. So, I can both be a loyal fan AND realize that the ship is sinking (and has been for quite some time).
