ToHailWithIt
Somebody asked Coach about the RGIII report and he came out swinging...I'll post the quotes as soon as they're available...He isn't just taking up for RGIII he is taking up for the team...He's fatiguing of nonsense...he emphatically refuted the report...He was throughly disgusted with the defensive performance...Wasn't happy with a few of Griff's throws and decisions but he wasn't totally down on him either... pray4surf
Gruden looked pissed! Looked like he was about 2 seconds from dropping f-bombs.

Conn
Gruden looked pissed! Looked like he was about 2 seconds from dropping f-bombs. Have you seen his season of Hard Knocks? He most certainly is always censoring himself around the media here.
chrisxcore
I like Gruden, but it won't amount to anything. Same old, same old.
Springfield
Good for him. He will be a great coach for us for years if the fan base stops tripping over themselves to have everyone fired or benched.
SkinsHokieFan
Gruden was awesome in that presser. Was clearly pissed, clearly hates losing and really not happy with Britt McHenry today (which is too bad for Brit having to be the front person on that report, she is a cool chick)
ToHailWithIt
I think he's over Haslett...It was a terrible AWFUL defensive performance...two consecutive long scoring drives...just can't happen...it was a mockery...Gruden saw what I saw... jadams5214
Very telling comment from Gruden about Jason Hatcher. He was asked if Hatcher was hurt as a reason for him being off the field for long stretches in favor of Bowen. His reply was that Hatcher was fine and it was a coaching decision to play Bowen more. Definitely not a good sign to see the prized free agent acquisition on the bench while the defense is falling apart and getting gashed by a rookie QB... Conn
Sucks for him to go from coaching an offense across from a Zimmer defense to this.
Bat~man
Not to be a jerk, but who cares if he's mad? Every coach that continually gets embarrassed gets mad. What's he going to do about it? Keep grinding out hard fought L's more than likely.
StephenDavis
Good. We need a culture shock around here. Hope Gruden lays into Haslett and the D. Haven't watched the game yet so I'm just depending on what I've read on here.

TD Riggo
Yeah. I like how he called that little BSpn **** an amateur! Now, if they'll ban her from Redskins Park and the locker rooms, I will be even more impressed. I like Jay Gruden a lot, going back to his player days. Hopefully, he'll make the change (canning Hazmat, that is). He's pretty much a no-nonsense guy.

Keep grinding out hard fought L's more than likely. I think the notable part is the standing up and fighting back against this media horse **** that mysteriously pops up on gameday, constantly. The fact that the media in this town might as well be just another opponent on the Redskins schedule.
gortiz
I like Gruden, but it won't amount to anything. Same old, same old. 8 games in? You are writing him off?

TD Riggo
Good. We need a culture shock around here. Hope Gruden lays into Haslett and the D. Haven't watched the game yet so I'm just depending on what I've read on here. Just think of the flat, play-not-to-lose, ten-yard-cushion defense that you have seen during Haslett's entire tenure here (what? five years, no?) and you'll have exactly the image of what happened today. Defense lost this game today. NOT the offense, and certainly not RG3. We put up 26 points against a good defense. That should be enough against a rookie QB. Warhead36
I like that he's passionate and cares. We haven't really had a coach that legit got upset since like, Marty? Even Gibbs II was a little too coddling of the players.
Dissident2
Well, I'm glad to see how upset he is about the loss, but ... what are you going to DO about it? That's the question. How you can look at Haslett's body of work at this point and still keep him around is just mind-blowing.
Forehead
Yeah. I like how he called that little BSpn **** an amateur! Now, if they'll ban her from Redskins Park and the locker rooms, I will be even more impressed. That would be interesting. Name your "source" or GTFO. Man, would there be any reporters left to cover that team if that became the policy? Could we handle the fines?
dballer
I really like Gruden. Makes me feel better to see that he was more pissed than I am. Liked how he really seemed fed up with the defense and especially the play calling. Also liked how he drew a line in the dirt between the media and Robert/The Team. He understands the situation he is in. Just gotta win more games.
